Ion's POV
With three knocks on the door,
Ivee came in a sad expression and a still bit hesitant to relay the news
she got me.
"Spill the beans Ivee" I said while
fixing my bow tie facing the mirror.
"Sir, I think she's not coming, she
took a flight, off to Philippines hours ago" she said and my heart just sank.
I already knew that she'll never be
happy with me. I knew very well that she loved someone else and I was just a knight willing to save her from her miseries.
"Anong sasabihin ko sa mga guest sir? papauwiin ko na ba?" tanong nya sakin.
"We still have time before the
wedding, let's wait until then" sagot ko naman.
I don't have the courage to tell them that my mystery bride
just runaway.
Yes I can call her a mystery bride because no one knows whom Im gonna marry.
Khate is my highschool friend and
my first love but she loves someone else and all I can do is wish them happiness together.
But two weeks ago she suddenly came to me pregnant and asked me for my help,that's why I promise her marriage kaysa magcommit sya ng abortion.
Gulong- gulo ang isip ko kahit alam
ko na mangyayari din to. Siguro
hindi lang ako makapaniwala na
yung inisip ko lang noon is finally
happening right now.
Nagikot-ikot muna ako sa resort while wearing my Tuxedo for the wedding.
I never thought of getting married
until today when someone finally
dumped me. I'm not happy but i'm
also upset, maybe a bit hurt? I
can't explain this kind of feelings,
siguro mentally prepared lang talaga ako na mangyayari to.
I know my worth and I already did
everything I could and to those we
love? we cannot force them to love
us back and we are lucky enough
if we can get a bit of affection . It's
already time to step back and start
again.
I decided to use my time for chilling at pumunta ako sa isang beach front resto at umorder ng isang bote ng Temila It's still 4 pm kaya walang katao-tao yung resto maliban sa isang babae sa tapat ko na kanina pa tulala habang umiinom ng vodka.
Nakakalahati ko na yung isang bote sa kaiinom without realizing na nakatitig parin pala ako sa babaeng nasa tapat ko. She also notice me na nakatitig sakanya at agad naman sya tumayo sa inuupuan nya.
Ilang sandali nasa tabi ko na sya nakaupo.
"Hulaan ko, ikakasal ka narin noh?kaso di sumipot bride mo" she said while laughing.
"Why did you say so?" tanong ko
naman sakanya.
"Kasi pareha tayong nandito wearing our wedding outfits, and trying to get drunk" she said and I just realize that she's also wearing a wedding dress.
Napatawa nalang ako sa nangyayari.
"How about a toast for our exes?"offer ko sakanya while raising my glass of tequila at tinanggap nya naman ito.
"Para sa ex nating walang kwenta!"she said bago inumin yung wine nya.
"So bakit ka iniwan?" she suddenly ask me."mukhang mayaman ka naman at gwapo" dagdag nya kaya napatawa nalang ako sa tanong nya bago nakasagot.
"I knew that she's going to dumped me since our wedding is just for business. I was like a knight saving her from miseries, eh ikaw? bat ka iniwan?" tanong ko rin sakanya but tears suddenly fell from her eyes and she still looks very attractive.
