Isabelle POV
The office is in chaos after we lost
all the data for the research project.
It was corrupted and impossible to
recover, so we don't have a choice
but to start over.
I didn't expect na dadating agad si
Ion when he was actually having a
meal with Marie's family.
"Is it really impossible to recover?"bungad ni Ion pagdating na pagdating nya at agad chineck and hard drive ng desktop kung talagang wala na bang pag-asa.
"We already check it for multiple
times pero wala talaga and I called my team in New York if they got to have a copy but unfortunately not,It's also a company's protocol that's why they didn't dare to copy any
files" paliwanag ko.
"We really need to start from
scratch" he said.
At dahil kami lang ni James ang
nagpa-iwan sa Pilipinas, Ion lend
us his manpower to do the research again.
"When is the launching of this
project again?" tanong nya.
"It should be next week" sagot
naman ni James sakanya.
"We should start this as soon as
possible" he said and his staff started another data gathering and collect evidences to prove our study.
We're already working for hours,
Ion and Ion is organizing all the data collected.
Marie called him but it was only a
brief conversation.
I finally got Ion's attention now as
he immersed himself in working our project.
Marie's POV
Hinihintay ko si Ion na makauwi,
I already texted him but I think
the problem is really bigger than I
expected.
He just briefly answered my call
earlier.
Hinintay ko lang na makarating si
Ion sa living room while listening
to some classical music.
Ilang sandali,11:00 pm na pero
wala parin siya hanggang sa di ko
namalayang nakatulog na pala ako
sa sofa.
I woke up when Ion carried me in
our room.
"Kanina ka pa ba?" Tanong ko.
"Kakarating lang" he said and he
gently put me in bed.
"You should've slept earlier, di mo na dapat ako hinintay, it's bad for Alya"he said at napatawa ako bigla kahit sobrang antok ko na.
"You seriously like that name?"
Tanong ko pa and he nodded.
"Alya is a good name" bulong pa nya and showered me in kisses.
Nagbihis muna sya before joining me in bed.
Ilang sandali humiga nadin sya at
agad akong niyakap.
"Sorry for getting home late" he
whispered.
"It's okay, at least you're home now"sagot ko naman and now, we both can sleep in peace.
The next morning, nagising nalang
ako with a warm milk beside our bed and Ion is nowhere to be found.
I drank the milk he prepared at
agad naman akong bumaba to have my breakfast but I only saw Erik cleaning up the table.
"Where's everyone?" Tanong ko
sakanya.
"Umalis na po si Kuya Ion kasama si Ms. Issa at pinaghanda din pala kayo ni Kuya ng breakfast"paliwanag ni Eric.
Sana man lang ginising nya ako para nakapaghanda ako para sakanya.
