Marie's POV
After dinner, pumasok si Ion sa
study room nya para magtrabaho.
I want to know what he's thinking
but I don't know how to talk to him.
His matter about his family is very
fragile.
He even asked me about Terrence
which suddenly made me scared.
I felt that I was caught red handed
but I know for sure na wala naman
akong ginagawang mali.
The next morning, maaga din syang umalis but this time he called a driver for me.
Maaga nadin ako umalis dahil susukatin ko pa ang gown na susuotin ko sa premiere night at Charity ball.
Paglabas namin ng gate, nakita ko
ulit yung ale na nakatayo sa harap
ng bahay namin.
I asked the driver to stop the car at
bumaba naman ako.
" Excuse me, may kailangan ka po ba?" Tanong ko at agad naman sya lumingon sakin.
She looks terrified ng makita ako
then she tried to runaway but
thankfully I immediately grab her
arms.
"Ilang araw na kitang napapansin sa harap ng bahay namin, may problema po ba?" Tanong ko while she's trying to escape from me.
Sinubukan nyang kumalas sa hawak ko and she suddenly fainted kaya nataranta ako.
Agad akong tumawag ng ambulance para dalhin sya sa hospital.
Pinasamahan ko nalang muna sya
sa driver dahil marami pa akong
nakapila na schedules sa araw nato.
Mamaya ko nalang sya kakausapin
kapag kumalma na sya.
Wala din naman akong magagawa dun if she's not concious.
While i'm working, our driver
suddenly called me and he said
na bigla nalang nawala ang ale sa
ospital kaya agad akong sumunod
sa ospital to check what really
happened.
When I arrived, nagkakagulo na nga sa nurse station and they're talking about the woman that we brought here.
"Excuse me, what really happened here?" Tanong ko sakanila then they showed me a medical record of Zeny Valdez.
Is she the one that we brought here?
The doctor explained about her
condition and she hasn't done any
treatment yet.
Baka dahil wala syang panggastos sa ospital.
She have an early stage of stomach cancer and I guess she didn't even know it.
"We can't let her go with that
condition, she didn't even sign a
waiver of her treatment, It might
affect our hospital if this goes out in public" paliwanag ng doctor.
"Im really sorry Doc. Kahit ako hindi ko alam ang kondisyin nya, we just brought her here when she fainted." ko naman.
Ilang sandali nakita ko na ang driver ko na dala-dala ang bag nung ale.
"What's that?" Tanong ko sakanya.
"Naiwan ata ng Ale mam" sagot nya at agad binigay sakin ang bag.
I know it's rude but I need to find to kaya agad ko hinalungkat ang
bag nya.
Nacucurious kasi ako kung sino talaga sya and why she's lurking
around our house.
Her bag is full of newspapers na may article tungkol samin ni Ion.
She's suspicious but I don't think
she's dangerous.
