I've been meaning to tell you
I don't know if you knew
I still feel lonely in the sun
and the trees they dance
But its melody I don't hear
My love, there's no music when you're not here
In my heart there is a hole
A hole to bear my soul
You'll see a mark of grudge
Pierced through an aged patch
But its mending power I don't feel
My love, I swear on the sun I'll never heal
I etched a smile on my lips
To hide whatever keeps
Here in the brisk cold of September
Watched Saturn and wished I could have her
But its distance is far from my reach
My love, a saturnine smile is all I can give.
