A/N: *WARNING! CONTAINS SOME LANGUAGE!*

"Yū-kun.. Do you need another tissue?"

I sighed and plucked a white sheet for the sniffling boy, handing it to him as he blowed in it loudly.

"Thanks, Kameko-chan."

He weakly smiled, crumpling the tissue and throwing it in a nearby waste bin.

I averted my gaze from the sniffling boy to the plastic bag filled with worksheets, textbooks and such.

"When are you going to start all of that?"

I was exhausted from even looking at the huge pile of work sprawled out lazily on his desk.

"Maybe tomorrow?"

The libero rubbed his eye tiredly and stretched under his bedsheets.

"You said that yesterday."

I scolded him from the untouched position of the books.

"Hey! You're the one who got me sick, so don't lecture me!"

A coughing fit followed the rise in his voice. Yū-Kim groaned and pouted like a child when he realized he had to keep his voice low and stay calm.

"You were the one who broke into my house in the first place..."

I argued while playing with the dangling chains hanging loosely from the keys to my house.

Yū-kun only gave a defeated 'Hmph' at my point at crossed his arms along his chest.

"Ah! Say, Kameko-chan. How was the game?"

His pale face lit up as he asked me with as much energy as he could muster.

"We did great."

I reassured, fixating my glasses to cover my view of the boy.

Well, it wasn't a complete lie.

"And? What happened afterwards?"

Yū-kun moved along with his bedsheets as he tried to get a better look of my expression covered by my hand. I knew that he wasn't going to let it end there, but at least I tried.

"...Well, we lost."

I replied in an irresolute tone, due to the fact Yū-kun never took losing too well.

His expression grew dim as he processed the new information, with myself observing quietly.

Because Yū-kun caught my cold I had last week, he had to stay home for the practice match against Seijou. I went today, of course, to represent the volleyball team and be there for general support. Afterwards, out of appreciation for his actions when I was sick, I decided to visit Yū-kun and bring him his work.

And, I didn't graciously let myself in his household like he did with mine. Thankfully, his mother was home when I came and showed me up to his room- but not without teasing our relationship in between.

"Hmph! We'll get 'em next time, Kameko-chan! When I'll be there, we'll win for sure!"

He declared with determination, and livened up at the thought of being able to play against them soon.

If it was one thing, Yū-kun's persistency to always keep a positive outcome on things was really one of the reasons I loved him.

I felt myself grinning at this.

"Yeah. Nobody can receive Oikawa-san's serves better than you can."

The room fell silent at the mention of the captain. I was curious as to why, but remembering my first encounter with him brought me to shift under the libero's hard gaze.
