Epilogue

Mari's POV :

The kids turned ten years old last week. It's amazing how time flies by. It feels like just yesterday they were taking their first steps. They started training to be miraculous holders when they were five and they helped us with patrol yesterday for the first time.

They're growing up so fast...

I hear someone knock on the door.

Forest : Are you ready mum? Can I come in?

Last Summer, we went to France for the holidays. We stayed at my parent's house. It was great. On one of our last nights there, I went on a date with my demon. We had dinner and went to the Eiffel Tower to look at the city. Turns out he's the black cat miraculous holder. We sat down and looked at the city. We played some music and danced on top of the Eiffel Tower.

°Flashback°

Damian : This seems odly familiar...

Mari : It does, doesn't it?

Damian : I remember hearing this music ages ago- I remember now! Once I went to the Willow tree and you somehow appeared and we started dancing to this music.

Mari : The same thing happened to me!

We keep dancing. I don't know how long we danced for, but the streetlights had turned off by the time we were finished. The only thing illuminating us was the light of the moon.

Mari : You know what, I was planning on asking you tomorrow in front of the children, but right now feels like a better time to.

I pull out a little box I had been keeping in my yo-yo.

Mari : Damian Wayne, my demon, will you marry me?

Damian starts laughing.

Marinette with a hurt voice : Why are you laughing?

Damian pulling out a box himself : I was going to ask you tomorrow!

°End of flashback°

Mari : Come in! Are you and your siblings ready?

I turn around once the door had closed. Standing there, I see my four children wearing light Grey suits. They're all smiling brightly at me.

Mari : You look great!

All four : So do you!

Mari : How is your dad getting along?

Brecken : He's trying to bribe Plagg into getting a picture of you.

Rune : It's not working though. You promised him too much beforehand.

We all chuckle at that last comment.

Mari : I have to put the finishing touches on the dress and get my hair done. I'll see you soon!

They all leave after giving me a quick hug.

Tikki : Good thing you bribed Plagg.

Mari : I know! Can you please close the shutters?

Tikki : Of course!

Tikki closes the shutters and a few seconds later, we hear something.

Damian : No fair!

Mari : It's bad luck to see me before the wedding! Be patient!

Damian : Fine!

Tikki and I start laughing. I glance at myself in the mirror.
