We went straight to the rooftop by an elevator.
I was certain now, it was a penthouse.
There were few people there, seniors, I guess. They were all in the hot tub.
"Sophie! Get over here!", someone from the hot tub shouted, attracting our attention.
We stalked towards the tub to the person who called, It was a girl, a senior. Sophie was really popular amongst people and I was gaining from her popularity.
"Hey Sasha, cool party", Sophie said to the girl who called.
"This is my best friend Jo", she added.
"Hi guys", I said to them.
"Nice to meet you Jo, get in with us", she said.
I could see Sophie undressing.
There were boys around and I couldn't bring myself to undress right before them. No man has ever seen my nakedness and I wanted it to remain that way.
"No, I'm good, I'll just sit right here", I said sitting at the edge of the tub.
"If you say so", Sasha said to me.
I watched them play with water and balls, it was fun and a sight to remember.
I felt two pair of eyes on me.
I didn't want to turn to him, so I fixated my eyes on nothing in particular, avoiding his own gaze.
"Hey guys, let's play a game of truth or dare", someone spoke earning everyone's attention.
I knew it was him.
His eyes never shifted from me as he spoke. Everyone agreed to his suggestion and cheered.
I've heard about the game truth or dare but I have never seen how it was played or been involved in any.
I didn't know what to expect from it, so, I backed out.
"I wouldn't like to play, sorry guys", I said.
Sophie upon hearing that, came out of the water and pulled me aside.
"What are you doing? Do you want them to think that you are lame and boring?", she asked almost in anger.
I didn't want that, I wasn't boring, "no", I replied her.
"Good, now let's go and play the game of truth or dare", she said and we walked back to the tub.
"Change of plans, I'm all in", I said and they began to cheer.
The game commenced and people began to do all sort of activities, activities meant for only adults. I was uncomfortable with things they were doing but I couldn't complain because I didn't want to seem boring.
"OK, Smarty, truth or dare?", someone asked a guy.
The same guy who couldn't let his eyes stay away from me.
"Dare", he said looking at me.
My heart raced, it wasn't fear, it was something unknown.
"Pick any girl and kiss her for ten seconds", the guy dared him.
He looked around.
His eyes fell on me and I gulped hard. He walked out of the water and approached me, he stretched out his hand, "may I?", he asked.
I knew where this was going, he wanted to kiss me.
'Don't make them think you are boring', a voice in me said.
I placed my hand in his as approval. He took my hand and placed it around his neck while his hands went around my waist and he wrapped me so close to him.
He brought his face closer to mine, I have never done this so, I didn't know what to do, I just let him take over.
He crushed his lips mine. His tongue told me to open my mouth and I gave access.
His touch, his kiss, ignited every part of my body, it was so tender, sloppy and filled with passion.
"That's more than ten seconds Smarty", the guy who dared him said.
Our lips parted and I groaned.
He looked into my eyes, I've been avoiding those eyes, they were the most beautiful hazel eyes I had ever seen. His perfect eyebrows, his long eye lashes like mine, his heart shaped lips, his golden hair and chiseled face made him look exceptional, I felt safe in his hold.
He smiled at me.
"Peter couldn't hold his peace for five seconds, jealous?", he asked cheekily.
"This isn't pornography Smarty, it's a game", Peter replied with clenched fists.
"Whatever", Smarty said.
I saw girls who had already killed me with their eyes, it seemed like Smarty was a guy every girl wanted.
I didn't want trouble, "I need to go home now", I said, I didn't care if I was being boring or lame. I saw relive on some faces.
"Me too", Sophie said.
We bade them goodbye and left.
"How was your first kiss?", Sophie asked as we drove off. She had smiles and excitement all over her face.
"Why are you happy?", I asked instead, ignoring her question.
"Because my best friend just kissed the hottest guy in school!", she screamed.
My cheeks burned.
"It was because of you Sophie, I really enjoyed my birthday. With the special treatment and everything, I'm so grateful", I said to her.
"I got you for life best friend", she said making me smile.
