"He's not dead... He's not dead." Caitlin whispered.
"Caitlin..." I walked closer to her.

"He's not dead. He's not.
This isn't happening.
This isn't happening again."

"Hey, I got you.
Come on." I walked away with her

I walked with Caitlin through the corridors, I'm sad for Caitlin but still... something was weird about that murder... it seems too... perfect.

I put Caitlin on the bed and played with her hair.

"Let's go to the garden
You'll find something waiting
Right there where you left it lying upside down
When you finally find it, you'll see how it's faded
The underside is lighter when you turn it around"
Her tears stopped falling.
"Everything stays right where you left it
Everything stays
But it still changes
Ever so slightly, daily and nightly"
She closed her eyes.

"In little ways, when everything stays
Go down to the ocean
The crystal tide is raising
waters' gotten higher as the shore washes out
Keep your eyes wide open, even when the sun is blazin'
The moon controls the tide, it can cause you to drown"
Barry and Cisco walked into the room next to us so I sang a bit weaker.
"Everything stays, right where you've left it
Everything stays, but it still changes
Ever so slightly, daily and nightly
In little ways
When everything stays" I didn't move from her side until she woke up.

"So you're not my mom?" Jesse asked as she finally sat next to me.

"No, I'm sorry about your mother," I said.

"I would love it if we could, you know, hung out or just try to be friends...." Jesse said and I sighed and got up. "I never met my mother, she doesn't even deserve that title, I hope yours was better," I said and left.
I can't have that kid connected to me, everything I touch dies in the end.

"...fine," Caitlin said and left as I walked into the cortex with Barry.

"Hey," Barry said.

"Did you hear that?"

"No, what?" Barry asked.

"Caitlin just bit my head off.
She's been all business, no emotion lately.
She's been... cold." Cisco said slowly.

"Cold? Come on, Cisco." I sighed.

"This could be the beginning of her becoming evil.
You're not worried about that?" Cisco asked

"I'm not worried about that.
Caitlin's not gonna become Killer Frost.
Hm. You haven't mentioned anything
about Earth-2, have you?" Barry asked.

"No, 'cause I know how to keep a secret." Cisco defended himself.

"All right, well, look, I mean, it's gonna take some time for her to heal.
We just got to be there for her, keep her busy." Barry sighed.

"That shouldn't be a problem," Dig said as he and Lyla walked into the cortex.

"Oh. Hey, Dig, Lyla.
What are you guys doing here?" Barry asked.

"We came to give you the head's up, Barry," Dig said.

"About what?" I asked.

"A meta-human who escaped from A.R.G.U.S. custody goes by the name King Shark," Lyla explained
