"So, you're really here"
"Ywup mwe, really her" I tried to speak accurately as my mouth was stuffed with a burger
"You say you live 5 minutes away?"
"Yeah I do, literally down the corner" I nodded as I wiped some sauce off of my lips
"Same" He smiled
"I shouldn't be telling you this but you know the buildings down there, the brick and marble ones, I live there"
He stared at me in shock as if he was processing the words
"You what?" He asked
"I live in th-"
"No wait what?"
"I liv-"
"Huh?"
"If you let me talk you would hear" I laughed as he rolled his eyes
"I live down the road from you" He said
Now I look shocked
"To think that we've been speaking this whole time when you lived literally down the road"
"Its still kinda hard though Burse high is a hard school, the teachers are shit"
"I- I go there" I stuttered as I took a chip and bit into it
"You're lying" He gasped as he put his cup down
"Nope" I said popping the 'p'
"What year?" He asked curiously
"Senior"
"Same"
"How come I haven't seen you around?"
"You're in all of my classes" I muttered shyly
"All?" He asked astonished
"Nearly all" I nodded
"I bunk most of them anyways" He smirked
"Yup you sure do, the teachers always shouting at you especially Mr. Scott" I giggled
"He's a piss taker, he can go" He groaned leaning back in his chair "You haven't stopped" He smiled
"Stopped what?"
"Eating"
I dropped my chip and stared at him
He was right
Even though he wasn't eating I still was
"Are you full?" he asked
"Not really but we can go"
"Sit, eat, then we can go" He nodded and I nodded in agreement
After eating I thanked him and he paid for the check
