"Here" Lee gave me a piece of her sandwich but I rejected it politely, I know this sounds selfish but I want to eat with Landon and only him. I sat on our table and began talking about what we would do when we got to Landon's house
"How come you get to call him that?" She asked curiously
"Call him what?" I asked as I leaned back in my chair
"You know what" She said
"Oh Landon?"
"Yeah that, he literally kills everyone and anyone who says that"
She's not wrong
"He lets me I guess" I shrugged, it kind off confuses me why he kills if he helps with help line but its not my place to ask so instead I brush it off
"He's approaching"
I looked up and indeed saw Landon and Bruce approaching. Bruce and Lee have a good friendship which I know will soon blossom into something more and I know Lee knows that too, I'm happy for her though
"Hi Leah, Hi Stella" Bruce greets both of us and sits beside Lee
"Hi" I wave gently letting him talk to Lee
"Hey you" He walks over to me and sits beside me
"That's my line silly" I smile as I lean my head on his shoulder
"Now its mine" He jokes
In the corner of my eye I can see Lee smirking at me so I turn and stick my tongue out, she smiles at that and goes back to talking with Bruce
"Hungry?" He asked as he pulled out a bag of Mcdonalds
"Always" I smile
"Hey, you didn't accept my food but you accept his? Traitor" She sulks jokingly causing me to laugh
"Is that true?" He asked me causing me to blush
"Maybe maybe not" I duck my head down but he brings it back up
"Eat"
I nod and grab a chip, I wait for him to do the same and we eat together
"Can I steal your vanilla milkshake?" I ask and he nods slowly, I take off the lid and dip a chip in there, I always loved chips with vanilla milkshakes call me weird I don't care.
"Ew" He groans as he wipes my mouth
"Hey don't diss, try" I grab a chip and dunk it in the milkshake, He opened his mouth and I placed the chip in his mouth. I pulled my hand back slowly as he chewed
"This is nice" He smiled as he swallowed the food
I nodded and placed the lid back, I placed the straw in my lips then took it back immediately
"What's wrong?" He asked concern flashing his eyes
"Oh no, you don't want my germs I'm so sorry" I pull back the straw and grabbed a new one
"Hey, stop it, its fine" He smiled and gave my hand a soft peck
I nodded with a smile and slurped the milkshake, I passed it over to him and he took a sip. With my straw. Not his, mine. Now I think I'm overreacting
"Hey guys" Britanny, Stace and Lex walked over to us.
"I'm sitting there move" Britanny screeched at Lex and sat beside Landon
"Hey Lay" She flirted and he actually turned his body to speak to her
"Look Brit"
"Nick name?" She teased as she leaned forward
"Fu-"
"I need to go" I stood up quickly and placed the chips back down
"Where are you going?" Landon asked me as he stood up with me "I'll come with you" He nodded grabbing his bag
"No Lay its okay" I faked a smile and before turning around I saw hurt flash through his eyes
I walked over to the field and leaned against the oak tree, I didn't want to overreact because it wasn't a big deal, maybe he was just trying to tell her to bug off, yes, maybe that's it, but at the time I didn't think off that. My thoughts were interrupted as I heard his deep calming voice besides me
"Lay?"
I looked up to see Landon, he sat beside me and sighed heavily
"Lay?" He said again
"That's not your name?" I asked as I scooted further away
"Please don't do this" His eyes glossed over as he came closer
"Are you going to kill me?" I blurted out "I'm scared of yo-"
A tear slipped out of his eye as he stood up quickly
"You're scared of me?" He asked raising his voice
"Y-yes"
"Baby" He whispered as he helped me up "You're scared of me? Why would I kill you?"
"You kill everyone and anyone who calls you Landon and now you're letting me call you Landon, you're going to kill me" I stuttered out
"Please" He whispered as he wiped my eyes
"I lov-"
The bell rung stopping him from finishing his sentence, before I could leave he pulled me into a bone crashing hug and placed a warm kiss onto my forehead
"We cool?" He asked hope in his eyes
"Cool" I placed my pinky fingers on his and interlocked them together, I gave them both a kiss whilst he did the same and I left for class
It was now the end of the day
"Stace and Lex come here" Britanny screamed
"You 2 sit at the back I'll sit at the front with Lay"
"How about you" He muttered into my ear
"Riding with Lee, see ya bye"
I walked over to Leah and hopped in
"Lee"
"Yeah?"
"I don't know why I invited Britanny, they're gonna have sex and I don't want that"
"Let him have at it because when you get him he's not gon have nobody but you"
"I'll let him" I nodded
I walked over to the front door and knocked
"Finally" He pulled me into a hug "Please tell her to go" He groaned into my ear
That made my insides buzz
"Come on free sex am I right or am I right? I chuckled as I rubbed his back
"Its time to party"
