'Well you will not agree if I did not put rewards on the task. Haa.. What a sly human!' The god of death spoke to himself and sigh
"Indeed my dear child, Every event has a money on it. The harder it becomes the higher the amount it will reach and at the end you can have as much as you want, if you have stop this world from coming to it's end!" The god of death explain as he hum
Cale then thinks on how he will inform the capital about this.. Now that he thinks of it! It is quite hard to do, but like the god of death says it has a money reward so he cannot let the opportunity go!
'What if we send the prince or the king a letter? But they might think it is a prank letter.. But we wouldn't know if we didn't try.' Cale spoke to himself as he nods
"So what is your plan dear child?" The god of death ask
"Send an unknown letter to the Prince and then do something? But how do I help when I am this weak?" Cale answer then ask
"Ho is that what you are doubting about? You do not need to worry! Dear child do you know about a tree?" The god ask
"A tree?" Cale ask back..
"Yes, A tree. A man eating tree!" The god explain
Cale then look at him with a frown on his face.
"So? Do I need to feed the tree souls or some shit?" Cale ask frowning
The god then chuckles, Cale become confused because of the sudden laughter from the god of death, his frown lighten up a bit as he observe the god
"Oh no dear child, Even if it is called a man eating tree it eats everything it can consume, you do not need to find a soul or anything! Just give the tree foods it will like and there you will unlock a hidden secret that will help you!" The god of death explain with a wide smile
Cale didn't like those type of smile.. He can feel that his peaceful life will be taken way starting today..
'A tree ha.. Let's see what is this so called secret.' Cale spoke to himself as he look amuse about the words the god of death explain
"I will be leaving now dear child!" The god of death said but Cale didn't answer and just nod
'Haa.. What a cold blooded human..' The god chuckles to himself as it slowly disappear
Cale stand up and walk towards the kitchen, he see the old lady cooking and humming.. Cale cannot help but to smile, This reminds him of his mother. The mother who left him all alone.
Cale frown deeply, The old lady notice him and tap his shoulder
"Are you alright young master? Do you need anything from me?" The old lady ask
Cake snap back to himself and sigh
"Yes, I am alright. And yes, I need something from you.." Cale explain and stand straight
"Mhhm? What is it Young master?" The old lady let out a asking hums and ask
"Do you know about the man eating tree?" Cale ask
The old lady stop and become quite.. She look at he Young master and shake her head with a worried gaze..
"Yes, I know a lot about the man eating tree.." The old lady answers
