I put my key in Mrs. Tasha door and walked in the house. I spend more of my time over here than at my house.

"Hey grandma." I said hugging her.

"Hey baby." She said.

"Where pops at?" I asked.

"Back there sleep." She said.

"Oh okay, where Tae at?" I asked.

"She not here." Mrs. Tasha said.

"Where she at?" I asked.

"Uh with that Aubrey girl." She said.

I opened my phone and clicked her contact going to her messages.

I locked my phone back and put it in my pocket.

"Now I don't mean to be in your business, but you and my grand daughter?" She said.

"What you mean?" I asked truly confused.

"Y'all aren't a thing?" She asked.

"Oh nah we cool you know we friends I guess." I said.

"You sure?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"So you don't like her or nothing?" She asked.

"Grandma we cool of course I like her as a friend." I said.

"Hm, okay i'ma take your word for it." She said.

"How come you and pops been married for so long?" I asked.

"Well you actually have to get to know a person and like them for who they are. You have to take your time with that person, and cherish them in every which way. You have to be willing to build and grow with that person." She said.

"Wow that's deep, I always wanted to be happily married and have children one day." I said.

"There's nothing wrong with that. Take your time tho you're young." She said.

"You right, thanks grandma. I'm about to get up out of here. Love you." I said.

"Okay baby see you next time." She said bringing me into a hug.

I walked out the door and walked towards my car seeing drew and his homeboy.

Oh he real bold for coming out my hood.

I looked to the left and saw Relly and his crew on the porch causing me to chuckle.

I yelled 'Code red' which made Relly and his crew look up and direct their attention towards me.
