Lily's Pov
~ 9.30 pm ~

A gunshot was heard.

"SOMEONE SAVE ME PLEASE PLEASE!!"

Everyone looked up in the direction the screaming was coming from with shocked faces. It seemed to be coming from upstairs along the hallway. It was horrifying how high-pitched the screaming was. All of us quickly ran forward to the bottom of the stairs to check out the source of the noise. It was Calista. She was panicking, running for her life you could say. She looked petrified. She was profusely sweating and the horror-struck look on her face gave me goosebumps. Her face was covered in... Specks of blood. My blood ran cold. What the fuck is going on? Where is Emma? Calista bolted down the stairs, constantly looking back and checking if someone was following her. She quickly ran to us and started crying with tears flowing down nonstop.

"What happened? Is someone up there?" Eva questioned worriedly. Calista collected her senses and wiped away her tears, looking all serious which sent a shiver down my spine.

"We have to leave. NOW!" Calista directed. She was trembling, crying out to us that we had to leave.

"Are you okay? What happened? Where is Emma?" Carla flooded her with questions. Calista did not answer her and proceeded to forcefully grab Eva's and Otis's hands to drag them to leave. "We have to go! Just trust me. Please," Calista pleaded. I feel so bad for her, she did not have to experience whatever she experienced earlier. I scooted over to Calista and walked along with her, holding her arm to support her. I need to know what happened now. Maybe it was Meredith or something? I don't know. I just need to know.

"I am not going without Emma, I need to know what happened," I voiced out. I love her, man. I can't just leave her here. Why did Calista even come alone in the first place? There is no way something bad happened to my girlfriend.

"Don't go-" just before Calista could even finish her sentence, I ran up the stairs as quickly as I could so that no one would be able to pull me down. They were all cowards anyway to follow me up to stop me. Once I got upstairs, everything looked the same way it was before. The lights were on, the walls were well decorated just like it was and it just seemed... Normal. Carefully, I tiptoed to the room we were staying in to check for myself what had happened. I was scared though, what if something bad had happened to Emma? What if it's because I failed to protect her? I peered inside the room and the sight that I saw was blood-chilling. My jaw dropped to the ground and my eyes widened. I cupped my mouth with my hands as I witnessed that gruesomeness.

My love, Emma, was shot in the head. With a bullet. I couldn't believe it. I was too shocked to even move, what was I supposed to do? Go to her? Leave? A million thoughts ran through my mind but I just couldn't cry. I was too shocked. It was like losing a part of yourself that you knew you couldn't live without. Eventually, I ran to her and lifted her slightly so that she would be leaning toward me. Blood that gushed out of her mouth and head seemed to have dried up a little already. It was painful. My heart broke. I didn't know what to do, she was dead. She was killed by someone and with that thought, I could no longer be strong. I just wept and wept as I knew that I had lost her, forever. It was nothing like a heartbreak, it was worse. It was like death even though I have never experienced it. To be honest, there wasn't any other reason to live anymore, the only person I loved died. What else is there to live for?

"Please come back," I cried out.

"Oh? There is another one? Amazing!" I heard a voice from out the window. The clicking of a gun echoed throughout the room. Before I could turn...
