( Date - 13 November, Saturday )

"Buzz.. buzz.." The sound of your alarm woke you up. 5:30 AM, Saturday.

You didn't have to work today, the first time since you started your job.

"Hoahmm..... I have all day to do nothing, yeay!" You smiled as you laid back down on the bed & crawled under your blanket. You closed your eyes, trying to go back to sleep, but you couldn't. Your body was so used to moving a lot these days that you couldn't stand doing nothing & lazing around.

"Huhhh.. I'll just go help Kavya bai then." You finally gave up & went to the bathroom to take a shower. You changed into a fresh set of clothes & looked into the mirror. "Wow, these have become so loose on me. I think I need to buy some new clothes." You smiled at your reflection in the mirror.

"Morning," Nischay greeted you as soon as you stepped out of your room.

"Oh. Morning." You smiled at him.

"You're not going to work today?" He asked as he followed you to the kitchen. "No, it's my off day. Do you need something from the kitchen?" "Oh. I.. uh.." He scanned the kitchen as if looking for something. "I need a cup of coffee." He finally said.

"I (young master), didn't I make you a cup earlier?" Kavya bai asked him as she walked in from the back. "A-ahhh, I finished it already, so I need another one. Bring it to the living room please." He stuttered & quickly walked out of the kitchen.

"What's wrong with him?" You muttered under your breath. "I think he just wanted to talk to you." Kavya bai nudged you & chuckled. "Talk to me? Nahh, why would he want to do that? He hates me." You waved her off, but your cheeks couldn't help but blush. "Here's the coffee. Please give it to him, I need to throw away the garbage." Kavya bai grinned mischievously & left you alone in the kitchen.

"Kavya bai. Kavya bai!" You called out to her to no avail.

"I just need to give it to him. No big deal, right?" You huffed & carried the cup of coffee to the living room. Nischay was reading the newspaper when you came in, but he put it down as soon as he saw you. "Mr. Nischay, here's your coffee. I'll go help Kavya bai with gardening now. Enjoy." You rushed to the back again after you put the cup down.

"Wait!" Nischay exclaimed. "Do you need anything else?" "I told you to call me Nischay. You can drop the formality. I mean, if you want to that is." He sheepishly said. "Oh, haha, sorry I forgot. I'll remember that from now on. See you later." You walked out to the garden, biting your lip to suppress the grin that was lifting the corners of your lips.

"Kavya bai, is this ok?" You pointed at the shrubs you just cut with the garden shears.

"Yes, it's fine Mrs."

You'd been helping Kavya bai working in the garden, cutting shrubs & whatnot, all morning. While you were busy, Nischay had moved into the terrace with his newspaper & cup of coffee. You could clearly see him from where you were & couldn't help but steal occasional glances at him. Sometimes your eyes would meet & he would pretend to observe his cup of coffee or read the newspaper.

"Young master is staring at you." Kavya bai suddenly appeared beside you & whispered.

"no way, he's probably just looking at the trees." You dismissed her. "Just turn around if you don't believe me."

You followed her words & abruptly turned around. Nischay was indeed staring at your direction, but he frantically covered his face right away with the newspaper when he noticed you looking. "Pffttt.." You turned back around & muffled your laugh with your hand. "I told you. I think he's softening up to you now."
