chapter one

the text message:

n: hey josh , we need to talk
j: hey? alright um im on a walk so want me to meet you somewhere?
n: yeah , alright.
j: meet me at the top of the hill
n:alright ten mins
j:ok see u soon

"hey , um this is awkward , eh?" ~ ness
"yeah it is. but I've missed u , even as your friend i just miss being able to talk to you" ~ josh
" yeah me too , look im really sorry about what i did
i didn't know what i was doing " ~ ness
" i miss us " ~ josh
" josh let's not do this right now , i miss you
too but a relationship really isn't the best thing right now " ~ ness
" yeah of course , wanna unblock me? " ~ josh
* chuckles lightly * " aha of course " ~ ness

a couple hours later josh gets a text from ness which reads " hey josh meet me at the yard in twenty" so
the 'yard' is a place where they used to meet up all the time in 2020 and 2021 , where they first realised
They were the ones for each other , soulmates in-fact. josh pulled up to the yard and saw ness standing there in a black dress and the Gucci ring josh got her in 2021. all josh thought was 'damn i missed her so much'. and that thought there made it Final. josh was never going to let ness leave again , ever. nessa walked up to him and Josh's eyes lit up.
" josh i can't keep going on like this" ~ ness
" what do you mean? "~ josh
" i mean ever since i got with jaden i knew you was the only one , but after it came public and i couldn't go back to you , could I? so i had to stay with jaden and to be honest i was quite happy but then after the first month I couldn't cope, i just missed you so much" ~ ness
"yeah well i missed you to but you betrayed me ness." ~ josh
"i know , and im sorry , so sorry" ~ness

* a couple days later*

josh invited nessa round to a pool party his fiends was having nessa agrees to come but under one condition , josh would stick up for her over anything.
of course josh agreed because he would do anything for ness , especially after the conversation they had a couple days ago.
