Months Later
Current: All of them are out of high school. Stacey is living with Audrey in her apartment, best friends again. Stacey's family died in the hospital from the fire. Stacey and James are having ups and mostly downs.
"Mornin!" Said Audrey, "I made you pop tarts! And by that I mean I bought them and am handing you the box."
"Ha, thanks Aud. You know me sooo well. But where's my morning wine?"
"Oh yeah! Sorry!" She said sarcastically, knowing I was kidding. But I could sure use it because James and I are going through a rough time right now, I could use a drink.
"Scooch over." She said, wanting to sit on the beanbag and eat poptarts with me.
"Haha, fine! What movie should we watch?" I asked.
"The Notebook!" We said at the same time.
We both knew I was upset about how me and James weren't really happening, and Aud was upset she didn't have a boyfriend. So we both knew that we wanted to watch a romantic movie. Our fav of all time, The Notebook.
