𝗛𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲|| Chapter 14

After the school ended, the guys of the last yeard decided to organize a prom.
<<Let's go to it!>> Rowan said, while me and my group looked at him.
Maya gasped <<Why not!>>  and smiled <<I should buy the dress, shoes and even the bag!>>.
Kazuki and Sora nodded as I nodded no <<I won't come, sorry.>>
The looked at me confused <<Why that?>> Sora asked.
<<I don't like dancing betwem a lot of people and also that day will rain.>>.
Maya instead putted her arm around my shoulders <<Come on, you should relax and come to have fun!>> she smiled <<Also you don't have to dance if you don't want to. You can still drink qith me!>>
Then I couldn't say anything, while nodding. I knew they were going to force me to go with them.

In the next days I was so busy searching a nice dress to wear. I didn't want to look luke trash but I didn't even want everyone to point their eyes at me.
While searching, Kokichi was with me <<Come on! Lets go out!>> he whined.
<<I need a dress first>> I said, giving him another dress as he held other three more.
Then I went in changing room, trying them and showing to the purple haired boy.
The first one was a blue Halter Neck Dress. It is dress whose straps are held around the neck and the upper back bare.
<<How is it?>> I asked Kokichi, making various poses. He was sitting on a chair <<Not gonna lie... you look 30>>.
I frowed <<Thanks.>> and then I went back to change.

I came back with another dress. A soft pink A-line Dress. It is any dress that flares out from the bodice and flows widely towards the hem.
He looked at me <<You look like a gigant flower.>>
I sighed and went back to change.

Then a blue sky High Low Skirt Dress. This type of prom dress never goes out of style. It’s a flattering dress with a shorter hem in the front compared to the side or back.
He laughed <<You are too short for that.>>.
I made a middle finger to him and went inside to try the others.

A black Sheath Dress.
This is a dress that flatters my shape since it fits closely with no waist inseam, bringing out the body’s natural flow.
<<Are you going to a funeral?>> he said.
<<To your.>> I answered.

Then I tried the last one. A wisteria color Empire Waist Dress. This type of dress has a waistline above the waistline or below the bust. Actually I liked it so much. I felt so pretty in it.
I felt so jealous about other girls who could look so good in every dress. I wanted to be pretty as well, I wanted Kokichi to look at me amazed. But I was sure he would never look at me like that.
I am not drammatic, I am realistic.
I went out and showed it to Kokichi <<I don't care what you think, I want this one>> I said before he could say anything.
He kepts staying silent even while I was admiring my figure in the mirror.
Then he said <<Do as you want.>>.

Someday after the prom's day arrived.
My friends came at my house to get me and to go all together to the prom.
Rowan invited Maya, his crush till the svhool started. Meanwhile Sora got invited by Jessica, a girl of her spanish course, and her brother got invited by Zozu.
Everyone went there and we started to talk and have fun, as always. Not gonna lie, it was so fun. There was nice music, good people and a fun atmosphere.
<<I told you were going to have fun!>> Maya said and I nodded. Maya looked so good with her green High Low Skirt Dress. It looked so good because her eyes were green as well, so she looked like a princess.
Rowan was wearing a blue suit, he looked so formal like a gentleman.
Sora was wearing a limonate Sheath Dress with some little pink flowers on it.
Then Kazuki was wearing a normal pair of jeans with a white shirt.
They all looked amazing.

Suddently we  heard a slow and soft song. It was time for all the couple to dance together, then my friends went at the centre of the room and started to dance.
<<Wait, what about you Rika?>> Maya asked me before she went to dance.
I smiled <<I am going to drink a bit more. I told you I was not going to dance.>>
She whined a bit but then went away with Rowan, as I kept drinking.
It was nice to look at them having fun. In that moment I wished so bad that Kokichi was here and that he could dance.
I immagined the scene.

He came out of no where. He was wearing a beautiful black suit with a purple flower. I was amazed as he looked at me up and down, while smiled.
<<Rika>> he said with a calm voice <<Would you like to dance with me?>> then he showed me his hand, like a gentleman.
I was blushing so hard, but I could not refuse. He was amazing and I felt butterflies in my stomach being really fast. Then I grabbed his hand and he took me to dance.
He gently grabbed my hips as I putted my arms around his neck. The atmosphere was so romantic. His smell was unique, and I loved it.
He was gently smiling at me, as he stroked me softly. I was blushing more and more as he whispered at my ear <<You are so pretty tonight>> his tone was gentle and honest.

I wish he was here.
But in reality, he never came.
It never happened.
I just stayed there to look at my friends, while drinking something.
But it was a great and fun night.
