Namjoon took his lunch out of the cafeteria. Well, Lee Corporation built some luxurious property and Namjoon worked as they were building a new hotel. The corporation had their own small kitchen and cafeteria near the hotel building.

Namjoon sat in the cafeteria's backyard ground as he talked with Jackson, his fellow.

"Namjoon-ah. You need a mirror." Jackson gave an advice.

Namjoon knitted his eyebrows. "Huh?"

"It's not about your look." Jackson added. "But Seokjin way too good for you. Just give up already."

It's already two months since Namjoon joined Lee Corporation and worked as construction worker. And it's already two months since Namjoon fall in love. That day, Seokjin came to check the work site and Namjoon's heart was stolen right away since the very first time he saw the pretty one.

"I won't give up." Namjoon was being persistent.

"Come on. Do you know Seokjin's ex boyfriend?" Jackson sipped his iced coffee. "It's Kim Taehyung. He was born rich, university graduate, handsome, and doing great in his modelling career."

"So?" Namjoon tried to enjoy his lunch but the beef curry rice didn't taste as great as usual.

"So, I mean, Namjoon-ah, you are good looking and a hardworker. But you are only a construction worker. You are only a high school graduate. Even though I don't want to compare you with Taehyung – or maybe with Hyosang, but I heard somewhere, about Seokjin's parents want someone that come from a great background to become Seokjin's husband. They want someone rich, well educated, and with high social status." Jackson patted Namjoon's shoulder. "Namjoon-ah, you are nobody to begin with."

Namjoon put his bowl on the ground. "So many people just can't take a higher education because they don't have enough money. Most of the poor just doing their best to work and earn money so that they can pay daily expenses. At least they have a place to sleep and food to fill the stomach."

"Yeah, for people like us, we don't need social status. As long as we have enough money to pay our shabby apartment, to buy groceries, to pay for all basic needs, health insurance, and for recreational needs occasionally, then we are okay." Jackson shrugged his shoulders. "But for Seokjin's parents, it's a great deal for having social status. It's important for them."

Namjoon could only staring on his bowl. "It's the parents' view... But I don't think Seokjin is that kind of person."

"But you got rejected. For so many times." Jackson clicked his tongue. "Seokjin even refused the Snickers snack bar from you, while earlier this morning I saw him happily received a piece of candy from Hyosang."

Namjoon seemed like he was in a deep thoughts.And Jackson just wished that his fellow knows his boundaries. But...

"I will do my best to earn much more money so that at least I can pay a tuition for an online university." Namjoon fisted his palm.

Jackson rolled his eyes. Geez. An online university? Well, it's not bad but they were both talking about Seokjin's level. Oxford University! University of Oxford. Like, seriously?

"Or maybe, I can work much much harder to earn much much money and apply for non-regular student program." Said Namjoon with enthusiasm. "I will study hard and pursuing Korea University."

Ohh, sounds great.

"If Seokjin's parents wants someone who graduate from prestigious university, then I will grant their wish. I won't give up so easily." Namjoon looked up to see the clear blue sky. "I will convince Seokjin, that I'm worthy."

For anything, it was Namjoon's choice. It's Namjoon's life journey. It's about Namjoon and Seokjin. So that Jackson could only give Namjoon a support.

"Well... I'm wishing you - all the Good luck in the world then, Namjoon-ah." Jackson sighed and finished his lunch.
