He then steps in the rain and lets the rainwater pour on him, Queenie then kisses him one last time. And then we all left and returned back to Tina's apartment.
Present:
Y/N's POV:
We all returned back to the apartment. Most of us were feeling blue.
"Y/N..." I hear Newt whisper from behind, I turned around "Your arm,"
"Oh right..." I said looking at it, the blood was soaking through the fabric, and my bone was basically crushed "Brackium Emendo..."
My arm then healed in an instant. I then took off my jacket and I was only in my dirty, bloody dress shirt and black suit pants.
"Newt, we're leaving tomorrow," I stated "We're taking the boat back to London, which will be a 15-day trip,"
"What are you gonna do when we get there?" Newt asks as he too takes off his jacket
"Well, first off I have to take you to the Minister," I stated, he then looks at me "Hey! I'm only following orders,"
"I know. I know..." he says "I'll start packing,"
He then opens the suitcase and disappears. I chuckled, I then turned to look at Tina and Queenie
"Thank you for letting me stay here," I smiled
"It was a pleasure having you here," Tina smiles
"I'm going to take a shower, I'm quite..." I stated
"Filthy?" Queenie states
"I was going to say dirty, but that works too," I said making my way to the bathroom
The Next Day:
Y/N's POV:
I finished packing all of my stuff. I then went inside Newt's suitcase to see what he was up to. I looked around him and see him scolding the Nifflers.
"No. No, Teddy, give me back my locket," Newt warns him, Teddy then looks at him and then at the pocket watch, and shook his head
"Teddy," I stated, Teddy then looked at me and ran towards me, he then hopped onto my shoulder and sat there "And you said he was intimidated by me,"
Newt chuckles. Teddy then hands me the locket, and in return, I gave him a gold coin instead of a silver one. He then scurried off happily. I then looked inside the locket and see a moving picture of me looking at the snow, it was the day when we went to Central Park.
"It seems that you've updated the photo," I smirked and threw the locket towards him
"Yeah...I did," he says
"Ready to go?" I asked, he nods his head, he then both exited the suitcase, Newt then closed it shut and locked it, we then see Tina and Queenie waiting for us
"Aw...I wished you guys could've stayed a bit longer," Queenie whines slightly
"Maybe you can come to London and visit," I suggested, I then hugged them both "Thank you again,"
"You're very welcome," Tina smiles "And Mr. Scamander, try not to get into so much trouble,"
"Luckily for you, you don't have to chase me down anymore, Tina," Newt chuckles
I then made my way to the door and exited the apartment.
Newt's POV:
I was following Y/N from behind.
"Take care of her," I hear a whisper, I turned around and saw Queenie, I nodded my head, and closed the door behind me
I then followed Y/N. She stops.
"Ready?"
"Ready,"
We then apparated close to the docking area. I then see a familiar man walking at the same direction as us.
"Is that Jacob?" I asked Y/N
"I believe so," Y/N whispered, we see him wearing a blue tracksuit and he looked miserable
"I have a plan," I whispered "Follow me,"
Y/N's POV:
He then held my hand and pulled me. We then bumped into Jacob.
"I'm so sorry. Sorry," Newt says
"I'm sorry, sir?" I said walking past, Jacob then stumbled a bit and we continued to walk away
"Hey!" Jacob yells
"That was your plan, Newt?" I whispered as we kept walking
"No, not exactly, I switched his suitcase and gave him Occamy eggshells as collateral for his bakery," he states
"That was a pretty good plan, not going to lie," I said as we continued walking to the dock, we then made our way onto the boat
"Why thank you very much," he smiles
"Why you're very welcome," I smiled back, we then looked at the distant dock as we slowly departed, the water was clear and a lovely sapphire blue color "So, what are you going to do after seeing the Minister?"
"Well, I'm going to try to publish my manuscript," he states
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," I said "Can I have a copy when it's published?"
"Well, of course, I'd give you a copy," Newt smiles "But I'd probably invite you to the Launch Party-"
"You would?" I asked and raised an eyebrow
"Well, we've been friends for a very long time, and you contributed to my journey, so it's only right if I invite you-" he stumbles with his words
"Of course, I'll come to your Launch Party," I chuckled
We then continue to stare at the beautiful sea as we were slowly making our way to London.
Night:
Newt's POV:
It was night and Y/N was sleeping on the bed across from me. She seemed so peaceful. I took out the manuscript of my book and opened the pages, where it says "To my friend, Y/N L/N, who has been by my side for a very long time". I then scribbled it out with a pen. I then looked at Y/N one more time. I then wrote:
"To a very special person who holds a place in my heart, Y/N L/N, and has been by my side for a very long time, even to this day"
