I woke up alone and I quickly got up getting ready I looked at the time I was late Eddie didn't even bother to wake me up I quickly ran out with my bag and Eddie's van was gone so I started walking to school it took a bit but I made it

as I was walking through the parking lot I spotted Eddie's van what a dick I thought as I walked into school.

(Time skip to lunch)

As I walked into the cafeteria I looked around and I saw Eddie talking with Chrissy

and eventually, I found steve and Robin I sat down and started apologizing for Eddie's actions they said it was fine as we started talking about something different

(Time skip to the end of the day)

I was walking out of school thinking if I should just go home or not until I felt my arm being pulled by Eddie as he got me into his van I just crossed my arm looking out the window as he got in and started driving

The silence was eating me up I couldn't take it as I spoke "How's Chrissy..?"

Eddie froze a bit "...shes good"

"Good you can drop me off here" I smiled

"What..?" He asked confused

"I said let me out.!" I yelled and Eddie stopped on the side of the road and I got out running away from the van as Eddie chased me

"Y/n get back in this van now"

"You know what I'm just going to go around eye fucking Steve whenever I want to see how you like it"

"What are you talking about if this is about me and Chrissy today in the cafeteria I wasn't eye fucking her y/n now please can we just go home and talk this out"

"Then why did you freeze when I brought up her name," I said as tears started to fall from my eyes  "Just leave me alone Eddie everything was better how it was before" I said as I ran off

I went home that day as I unlocked the door walking inside the house looked like a mess

"Mom..!" I ran around looking for her and eventually I found her on the bathroom floor I started to shake her praying she wasn't dead but she wasn't waking up I felt her pulse it was so slow I ran downstairs grabbing the phone and calling 911

"911 what is your emergency"

At this point I was sobbing "My..my mom is passed out barely breathing on the bathroom floor please help..! My address is 67754 36ave and my name is y/n"

"We're sending someone right away please say with me y/n"

And as she said that I dropped the phone opening the front door leaving it open as I ran back upstairs to my mom holding her I didn't know how to help or what I could do and eventually I heard sirens as I ran tripping down the stairs and I got out the door

"please she's in the bathroom..!" I yelled I couldn't even see out of my eyes everything was blurry as I felt someone grab me

"It's ok your ok," A paramedic said holding me as I sobbed eventually more cops showed up as I watched them go in and out of my house and I sat in the back of an ambulance with a blanket around me

Eventually, the news showed up and so did people I hated living in this town

finally, I saw my mom she was being pulled out on a stretcher with oxygen pumping into her as she was put in the back of a different ambulance and they sped off with their sirens on

And that's when I heard my name being called I looked over and saw Eddie running to me he ducked under the police tape and I got up as he pulled me into a tight hug

I just cried it felt like that's the only thing I knew how to do at this point

Eventually, Eddie pulled me away because an officer wanted to talk to me

"Your mother is suffering from an overdose she's still alive but unwell and your house is under investigation right now because of the number of drugs in the house do you have a relative you can stay with anybody..?" the cop asked

I looked at Eddie and he nodded with no hesitation and I just ran back into his arms

It felt like everything was falling apart again right after I built it all up
