"I hide them... I did...I swear I did.." Zylen trembles.

"We both know you did Zylen.. but you didn't try your hardest didn't you?.. You know Harry .. and Cheryl" he pats the fabric on his lap ".. you know they were terrified... yet you didn't call for help"

"I-I've tried! But the line was cutted!" Zylen yelled back desperately, drown in sadness and guilt of what happened.

"Oh really? Even so you saw him days before, why don't you tell Mr and Mrs Connel?" He kept his head down, keep stroking the white blanket on his lap

"I was terrified.. I was scared you know it! I thought I was having a dream! I thought it was just my imagination! If he would have actually been there he will-"

"Hurt you? Is that what you were thinking back then? Wasn't someone got hurt that day?"

"H-Harry?" Zylen asked slowly. His eyes seems to be in so much pain. "But I didn't mean it! I really don't mean it! I swear!" Zylen desperately defend himself.

"You know we both knew that, then think harder, that wasn't the last time you saw William didn't you?"

"I- I saw him in my dreams but I-" he got cutted off again.

"Think harder Zylen!! When did you saw him again!!?" Suddenly he raised his voice, but he didn't move, he stay fixed in his spot in the small cage

"I didn't.. saw him-"

"Yes you did!! You can lie to everyone but you can never lie to me! To yourself!!" He exhaled ".. he saw you that night didn't you? When you were throwing the trash.. he caught you and he told us to get back into the house and pretend like nothing ever happened..."

Zylen felt his body shaking..  he doesn't remember well and he doesn't even want to remember, he can't even tell which was true and which was a dream. He lowered his head, wearing an expression that seems like he could cry

"Care to tell me what happened next?"

Zylen shakes his head.

"What happened? Cat got your tongue?"

He stay quiet, then he spoke slowly "He said.. he would not harm them.."

"Mhm..go on"

"He said.. he would let them go.. if I obey to what he said.. I never thought he would.." he paused himself, his voice were trembling, as if this is a confession to what he had done.

..What have I done..

"Deep inside.. you should know you can't trust him didn't you? But still you listen and obey.. too scared if he's going to take your life.. or torture you.."

"Anything but that!..Anything but that! I don't want to be hurt anymore.." Zylen gripped his hair and curled into himself.

"Haven't we faced enough Zylen..? Should you be scared of something so common..? You were hurt.. every single day.. he hurt us everyday Zylen.. what is there to lose anymore? We've lost everything Zylen.. Even our dignity.. our innocence.. our life.. our freedom..He ripped off everything away from us..Yet you still choose to listen to him.."

"I was scared!.. He will do anything to hurt me.. I can't run away from him, he always find me! He killed El! He killed many you saw it too!! He will kill me too!" He scream out. His eyes reflect pure fear

"But he didn't kill you didn't he.. you're valuable to him Zylen.. He won't throw away our lives that easily..And yet with that.. You allows him to kill more"
