"Tom...Tom...Tom wake up!" I could hear a voice tell me, and I slowly opened my eyes to see that it was Dan calling my name, begging me to wake up.
"Tom come on! We have to go!" Dan shouted, and I immediately stood up and saw two of those hound things down the hall, so me and Dan both ran as fast as we could from the two. We ran through the maze, hoping that the hounds wouldn't catch up to us, but they didn't seem to lose sight of us. After running through the randomly segmented office rooms, me and Dan came across a dead end, and we were trapped in my the hounds. They looked at us and we looked at them, almost shitting our pants over the fear we were experiencing to them, with them about to kill us. That was when one of the hounds took a step forward, ready to launch at us, and that's when I did that we were not killed, instead the hound was killed. Its corpse was splattered over the wall and fell to the ground, and that's when we saw the other hound get blasted from behind.
I looked at the corpse next to us and saw a bullet was shot through the hound, a shotgun shell to be exact. I looked in front and saw someone hold a shotgun in their hands look at the corpses, and then me and Dan. The person walked to us and that's when I saw who it was. It was a girl who was wearing a red scarf and body armor with camo pants. She looked at us and we looked at her
"Hey guys" She said to us, but we didn't respond
"Sorry for the scare, we all go through it at least once in The Backrooms" The girl said, but me and Dan still looked at her confused
"Oh yeah, how rude of me. The names Clara, and you two are?" Clara asked
"Oh yeah...umm....my names Tom, and this is Dan" I said
"We'll then, Tom and Dan, as I said before, you two are very lucky to survive a day and night in The Backrooms. Like do you guys have guns or weapons or something?" Clara asked us
"No, but I'm still so confused" I said
"Follow me then" Clara said, and we all began walking down the halls
"As I said before, you two are very lucky to still have blood in your veins. Actually, do you have blood in your veins?" Clara asked as she turned around and looked at me and Dan
"Uhh, why?" Dan asked
"Never mind, just wait till we get there" Clara said, and we continued walking
"So where's there?" I asked
"Base Alpha, you'll see it very soon" Clara said
"Ok but how do we get to Base Alpha?' Dan asked
"Glad you asked, which is why you should follow me unless you want to find more Hounds" Clara said
"Well it's just Hounds, I mean, you killed them one shot right?" I asked
"Yeah, with a shotgun shell" Clara said
"Same thing as a normal bullet, as a normal gun!" I said
"Yeah well there's a lot you don't know about The Backrooms" Clara said
"You'd be surprised" Dan said, and that's when we stopped in front of a wall
"Ok we're looking at a random wall. Now what?" I asked
"First off, be quiet, then do what I do" Clara said, and that's when she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, and she slowly put her foot forward and walked towards the wall. She stretched her hand to the wall and it phased through it, along with her whole body. It was like she walked into the wall and phased into it.
"Clara? Clara are you there?" I shouted
"I'm fine, I just no-clipped! Try it!" We could hear her say on the other side of the wall
