Lost - Steve Harrington x Reader

-The Creature-

-The next night-

It was almost night again when you heard footsteps. You went to your door and opened it seeing Steve going down the stairs.

"I'm coming." You said firmly.

"No. Last thing I need is everyone finding out about you." Said Steve at the bottom of the stairs.

"I'm coming." You said once again.

"Ugh.. fine but if you die, don't blame me.. okay?"

You run down the stairs and follow him to the front door.

"Here put these on."

Steve was holding a pair of shoes for you. Finally you put them on and followed him to his car, walking a bit crookedly as his shoes wear a couple sizes too big.

-time skip-

Steve and you pulled into the driveway of a house.

"Stay here." Steve said.

You stayed silent. As you watch from the front passengers seat a girl opened the door. It was Nancy. You heard them talking. It had been about a minute when Steve pushed through the door. Knowing something was up you quickly got out of the car and followed after Steve into the front of the house.

"You needa get out of here!" You heard a voice.

"Steve you need to get out!" You then heard Nancy's voice,

As you entered Nancy was pointing a gun at Steve.

"Steve who is that?" Nancy yelled,

"Shit" Steve yelled,

"Nancy!" The same boy in your vision yelled but Nancy didn't hear,

"Nancy!" He yelled again,

"The lights!"

The whole house was flickering into every colour of the rainbow. You were confused as to why a house needed so many christmas lights.

"It's here!" The boy screamed,

"Wait, what's here?!" Steve screamed in panic,

"Where is it?!" Nancy said ignoring Steve,

"I don't know" The unknown boy replied back, Steve still in panic,

"Will someone explain what's happening-" Steve screamed but was cut off.

The ceiling of the living room was caving down sending pieces of the wall everywhere revealing a grey slimy creature falling out. Shots were fired by Nancy. One by one. The creature was still coming towards all four of us. The unknown boy grabbed Nancy,

"Go! Go! Run! Go!" He screamed,

Following Nancy and the boy I grabbed Steve's arm and pulled him to where the others were pulling me too,

"Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Steve screamed while running,

Jumping over a bear trap and hearing a massive roar coming from behind us, into a bedroom, closing the door behind us.

"Jesus! Jesus! What the hell was that!" Steve yelled in panic,

"Shut up!" All three of us yelled,

As everything went quiet, the creatures footsteps were moving towards us slowly, the silence was so loud and the creature was growling louder than ever.

"What's it doing?" Nancy asked pointing her gun at the closed door while the boy had a lighter in his hand which was lit,

"I don't know." The boy replied,

The lights stopped flickering and everything went silent. We all looked at each other.

"Do you hear anything?" Nancy asked again,

"No" The boy said turning his lighter off then grabbing a baseball bat with nails hammered at the end of it,

The boy opened the door and the rest of us followed, looking down the hallway seeing that the bear trap didn't catch anything. All of us carefully stepped over the bear trap and quietly walked back to the living room where the creature had come from. Nothing was there.

"This is crazy. This is crazy." Steve said quietly,

"This is crazy. This is crazy." He repeated,

This is crazy! This is crazy!" He said yelling at this point and running to the phone, putting it to his ear, before he knew it Nancy had thrown the phone on the ground and broke it.

"What are you doi- What are you doing? Are you insane!?" Steve yelled,

"It's going to come back!" Nancy yelled back,

"So you need to leave, you and your friend! Right now!" She said again,

Steve grabbed my wrist and pulled me through the door and towards his car,

"Let go of me! They're going to die!"

"That's not my problem anymore!" Steve yelled with a mix of panic and shock,

As we were both arguing in front of the car the christmas lights began do flicker once more.

"We need to help them right now!"

Steve thought for a couple seconds.

"Shit" He yelled and ran back into the house hearing shots, you following.

As you ran in Steve was fighting the creature with the bat that the boy had before. Watching and hearing the creature growl for a couple seconds as Steve was hitting it you decided you have had enough. You raised your arm and pointed it at the creature, the creature froze but was still growling and roaring, you lifted it into the air feeling blood trickle down your nose and raised it on to the bear trap dropping the creature, the bear trap leached on to one of the creatures legs as it squealed in pain, with the force you were using you were about to pass out but managed to yell,

"BURN IT!" You said then a couple seconds later blacked out,

The boy clicked the lighter and threw it on the ground to were the creature was roaring in pain, fire spread throughout the creature when the boy quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher and put the burning fire out. The creature was gone and all that was left was a pile of slime which covered most of the burned bear trap.

"Wake up! Wake up!" You heard someone yell,

Your eyes slowly opened and you realised you were on the ground, Nancy to your left and Steve to your right, you had slowly gotten up,

"Woah, woah, take it easy.." Steve insisted, but you were too focused on the other boy following a trail that the christmas lights were creating. Nancy got up and went to him while Steve helped you up and you both followed Nancy seconds after.

"Mom?"

All four of you were led outside the front door of the house to see a street light flickering, Steve still helping you walk.

'Where's it going?" Nancy asked curiously,

"I don't think that's the monster." The boy replied,

-A month later-

"Merry Christmas" Said Steve handing you a small box wrapped in red and white stripes.

"What's this?" You ask confused,

"Something.." He said smiling,

As you open it, you see a tiny black box, as you open the box a silver infinity necklace is revealed,

"For me..?" You asked

"For you" Steve smiled again,

There was silence as you stared at it..

"But.. I didn't get you anything.."

"It's okay.. here turn around.. I'll put it on for you"

You turned around and feel his warm hands put the necklace around your neck and clipping it from behind. You turn around and bury your head in his chest leaving him a little surprised but him hugging you back.

"Thank you."
