For the next few weeks, Kordell's word limit had not exceeded more than 20 words per day. He decided to learn sign language so he could understand people and communicate as well, so his mom had taught him a few phrases and he was still learning.
The end of the school year was drawing near, and Kordell's grades had been skyrocketing. His teachers had become very fond of him, and so had his classmates. He even made some new friends, and he didn't have to say much at all.
