thoughts of the horrible previous day flooded my head, but i shook them off.

despite my brain telling me to turn around and quit, to change jobs are maybe just babysit a different kid, i knew i had to go through with this.

i'd never get better if i didn't.

and i can't do that if i can't even make eye contact with him without getting the strong urge to shove him into a trash can.

adams mother, like usual, greeted me at the door and motioned me in.

she gave me a quick set of rules, i nodded, and she left for whatever it was she did.

babysitting him was easy.

he'd eat and then stay in his room the entire day. he wouldn't bother me.

not once in the entire span of the time i'd been babysitting him had he exited his room.

i never even saw him unless i entered.

obviously, he didn't even talk to me. there's no way he could bother me.
