adams mother left us alone, with a weird box.
neither of us wanted to open it, or even be near each other.
but still, obviously, we were.
because we always were.
adams mother noticed this.
she knew we didn't get along the greatest. she just thought it was because of adam being an annoyed asshole.
she told me about it in the morning, before she left for work and before adam woke up.
adams father died 2 years ago.
he had no idea what to do. he was upset at the world, at everything.
that's why she thought adam was being rude to me.
but it was really because i was mean to him, too.
another rule of revenge; constantly make their life a living hell, but only up to the point where it can be played off as a joke.
or, if you can lie about it, and make it seem like a joke.
that's what i did with adams mom.
i lied to her.
