"Hey honey," Said Mary walking into Allen's room
"What are you doing here hun," Said Allen
"I stopped by this morning Because I packed you a bag of everything you might've wanted" Said Mary handing him a book bag
"Oh, I also bought you some breakfast" Said Mary handing it to him
"Thanks, hun," Said Allen leaning in and kissing her forehead
"So how are you feeling" Said Mary as she sat down on his bed
"I'm feeling okay, They have me on meds, injections, and stuff like that, But they can only help so much," Said Allen taking a bite into his bagel
"How does that make you feel?" Said, Mary
"Meds make me feel sleepy and then they put the air contractor on me so it keeps my airflow going, and then before I fall asleep they inject me with something; The meds are over there on that shelf if you wanna read them," Said Allen pointing across the room
Mary got up from the bed and walked over to the shelf. She looked at all the pills and picked one of them up; She began to read the labels on the bottles.
"You have to take two of each" Said Mary
"One in the morning and one before bed," Said Allen as he looks through the book bag Mary bought
"Oh I couldn't find your wallet or keys, But I figured you wouldn't need them as much," Said Mary as she put down the pills
"Yeah I have them with me," said Allen as he pulled out his laptop from his bag
"Oh," Said Mary
Mary walked back over to Allen and sat next to him on the bed. She watched as his eyes are glued to his laptop.
"I stopped by the company this morning," Said Mary breaking the silence
"Oh really, How is it?" Said, Allen
"Same as always, People in and out and a lot of homes are being viewed by customers, Kinda makes me want to view one myself," Said, Mary
"That's good" Said Allen chuckling
"But, the employees were asking where are you, But I told them you had a last-minute emergency," Said Mary fidgeting her fingers
"Oh, Well thank you for covering for me," Said, Allen
"Yeah they were asking; something about your permission for signing over the property, Something like that" Said Mary stuttering her words
"Oh I think I know what you're talking about, The papers are in my office but could you stop by and let the agents know that they could just email everything to me, And I'll get it done now that I have my laptop," Said Allen
"Um, yeah sure," Said Mary with a slight smile
"Thanks, hun," Said Allen with a smirk
"Well I should probably get going" Said Mary as she stood up from the bed
"Before you go could you help me to the restroom since you're here, please" Said Allen
"Yeah sure," Said Mary in an unpleased voice
Mary put down her bags and helped Allen to the restroom, He couldn't go himself because of all the wires he was attached to. He would always need assistance from A nurse whenever he needed to leave his bed.
"It'll only take a minute, So wait right there," said Allen as he shut the bathroom door
Mary slowly turned around examining his room, She looked behind her to make sure the bathroom door was still closed. She quickly began to search around the room for Allen's keys. She looked in some of his old clothes, bags, and drawers. She came across his wallet in one of his jackets that was hung up on the back of a chair. She opened up his wallet and saw a bunch of cards, She took the one that stood out to her the most.
