If money meant anything, Taehyung would already have a big and happy family
Why didn't she give herself a chance to be happy? Wasn't it clear enough that he was willing to try?

Taehyung snorted and hit the steering wheel angrily she drove him crazy in so many ways

"No It needs to be personally"
He took a few seconds to answer. "Ok Meet me at Masa 1 p.m. Let's have lunch together"
"Great I'll be there Bye"
Jisoo hung up without waiting for a reply She felt that sudden retching and ran to the bathroom
Taehyung kept staring at the device, not understanding what had just happened
What did Jisoo have to talk to him about? And why did she hang up quickly?
Jisoo dressed elegantly She even spent time doing light makeup to her hide dark circles
At the appointed time, she entered the restaurant Taehyung was there already, enjoying a glass of Red wine He stood up when he saw her approach
His heart missed a beat when her perfume hit his nostrils He was missing her so much
"Hi" she said awkwardly.
"Good afternoon, Jisoo How are you?" he asked politely
His mood changed just seeing her, and a small smile lurked on his lips
However, as he watched her better, Taehyung couldn't help but notice that she looked thinner, pale perhaps That fact put him on alert
"I'm good, thank you How are you?"
"I could be better" his eyes studied her face "Which subject is so important that made you call me?"
"Well, I need to talk to you about the weeding gift I mean, about the restaurants you gave me" she corrected her posture, standing upright A sign that she was nervous Jisoo glanced at him
"There is nothing to talk about It's a closed case"
"I can't accept it I cannot keep both establishments" she said firmly "But I'm Interested in the Daegu's restaurant I would like to know how much you want for It, so I can pay it There was no wedding, so there will be no wedding gift"
"That's ridiculous!" he lost his temper "You're still my fiancée though"
"It's business, Mr.Kim" she spoke in a disguised calm
"I don't wanna do business with you, Jisoo"
"What do you want then?" she dared to ask
"You..." he leaned forward while staring at her with fire in his eyes
Jisoo's eyes widened and she swallowed hard The waiters arrived bringing the dishes
They remained silent until the men left and Jisoo blew out the air trapped in his lungs
"Tae... This is important to me...Please"
He sighed heavily. "Ok We have a more viable option Partnership"
"I don't know how it would work" she hesitated
"Don't worry, Jisoo It will work" he smiled convinced "Now, eat Please"
Taehyung realized that she didn't touch the food, just drank water She smiled weakly and grabbed a sushi
"Almost everything is ready at the restaurant The opening will take place in a few days I will send the Invitation to you" Jisoo tried to change the subject
"I'll be there, Indeed" he said while taking her hand
"Well, I won't take your time anymore" she pulled her hand away quickly "I gotta go"
"Jisoo!" Taehyung tried to call her, but she was already on her way out He got up and followed her
When he hit the sidewalk, Taehyung realized that Jisoo was leaning against a wall, with her eyes closed She looked weak and pale
"Hey, what's wrong? Are you ok?" he asked worriedly, while holding her face in his hands
"Yes" she replied faintly "It was just dizziness"
"Come on, I'll take you home." he put his arm around her waist "Can you walk?"
"Yes"
"thanks"
They walked to the car Taehyung opened the door for her, watching her with concern
"Are you sure you don't need to go to a hospital?"
"Yes! Don't worry about it"
The path was made in silence When they arrived in front of her house, she already looked better
"Thanks, Taehyung" Jisoo said gently, as she took off her seat belt and opened the door
"Jisoo!" he grabbed her hand She glanced at him "Are you sure you're not hiding anything from me?" Taehyung asked, looking into her eyes
What now? Should she tell him the truth at once?
