random basil headcannons (and a question at the end)

~he listens to cavetown and jack stauber's micropop

~when he sees those zodiac tiktoks that go like "if you're a [insert like 6 random signs] then ily" and his sign isn't there, he gets sad and thinks about it for the next 3 days (this is oddly specific)

~if y/n has adhd, he will calmly listen to their ranting and will let them wander around his room while doing so. example:
"And I was like, 'No you aren't, you're so cool!' and they were like 'Really??'"
"It's nice that you reassure people that they matter,"
"Thanks Basil! You're so sweet, you know that? Sometimes I wonder how I was able to meet someone as great as you. You know, I wonder if...."

~when in public, he gets anxious and holds y/n's hand

~Likes to lay his head in y/n's lap while y/n gives him head scratches

~he loves y/n's eyes and smile, therefore he tries to make them smile as much as possible

~y/n, basil and kel will go hunting for bugs (if you don't like bugs, thats ok, you just talk with kel and basil while they search for them)

~VERY VERY SENSITIVE

~when i say very sensitive i mean things like this:
"Hi basil"
"Hi :)"
"oh you look strange are you ok?"
"huh? I look strange??"
and he will overthink that comment

~when y/n can't sleep, he'll hum a few songs and cuddle with them <3

~gets flustered super easily
