Re-connecting💜♥️: Side story

Hai guys! So while you wait for the next chapter I decided to make a side story! Just to write something else, of course! I also realized that the Aarmau relationship
in my fanfic was rushed, but hey we all learn :) Hope you enjoy it! P.S: This takes place after the movie night and the kiss, I just changed the part where Aaron and Aphmau go home.

                             (APHMAU POV)
5:06 PM
'I held his hand! We held hands!'
I was overwhelmed with fear but also excitement, maybe he just did it so he couldn't hurt my feelings?! But that was after he remembered me, he did kiss me as well.
Aph: Aughhh!
I plopped on the bed and checked my phone
4 missed calls from Melissa✨
'Crap'
I quickly ringed Melissa and she answered
Melissa: Hey Aph!
Aph: Hey Mel, sorry I missed your calls I just-
Melissa: Aph, it's okay
Aph: O- Okay, How have you been
Melissa: Trying to cope with what happened, it's hard...like really hard
Aph: I'm so sorry Mel
Melissa: You have no reason to apologize, you know that
Aph: Right
Melissa: Oh, I wanted to contact you about something
Aph: What is it?
Melissa: I know we had a movie yesterday but most of the group and I were planning to go to dinner tonight
Aph: Like a formal one?
Melissa: Semi-formal, at Olive garden
Aph: Oh, cool! I'll be there
Melissa: Awesome! I'll make reservations
Aph: Okay, see you
Melissa: See ya
I ended the call, went to my closet then sat on the floor. tears started strolling downs my cheeks
"Damn it," I said. I sniffled and wiped away my tears.

Ding!*
I picked up my phone and checked the message
Melissa✨
Dinner at 6:30
I texted her back
Aph💜
Great!
I got up and washed my face then picked out my outfit. Black jeans, a belt, and a flowy purple long sleeve shirt.

6:21 PM
I got dressed, did my hair, then went downstairs to put Celeste and Alexander in their crate. After letting them eat and putting them in their crates I put on my black flats, grabbed my keys, and walked out the doorway.
I got into my car and noticed that my ears and tail were out
Aph: Really Aphmau.
I sighed and made them disappear, I noticed my hands were starting to glow
Aph: What the hell!!?
I calmed myself down and looked at my hands again
'Why am I so anxious!?'
I started the car and drove to the restaurant.

AARON POV)
Melissa and I were in the car on our way to Olive garden
Melissa: Why are you so nervous?
Aaron: I- How did you know?
Melissa: Werewolves can hear others' heartbeats, plus I'm your sister
Aaron: We can?
Melissa: Mhm, but you're able to hear them from afar
Aaron: I did, didn't I
Melissa: Did what?
Aaron: The lodge, I heard her heartbeat I think
Melissa: Aphmau's?
Aaron: From what I can remember, yeah
Melissa: I guess there's a lot for you to recollect, but you can still recall the basics now right? Like where you lived/live etcetera?
Aaron: Yes
Melissa: That's Good
Aaron: I wished I could remember everything, well I do but there...scattered
Melissa: That's normal Aaron, but your amnesia is only temporary just be patient
Aaron: Right...I'll try
Melissa cleared her throat and spoke again
Melissa: How about we change the subject...
I covered my face with my hands
Aaron: Melissa!
Melissa: What? I just wanna know!
Aaron: Look, all I want to do is eat and talk-
Melissa: To Aphmau-
Aaron: Can you just let me handle MY relationship, please
Melissa: Of course Aaron, you're a grown man after all
Aaron: Who literally needs help twenty-four seven
Melissa: Don't be like that
Aaron: It's true!
I felt the car stop
Melissa: We're here, remember-
Aaron: 'Follow my sent', I know

Aphmau POV)
I walked into the restaurant to see Zane, KC, Garroth, Dante, Laurence, Melissa, and Aaron
KC: Aphmau!
KC walked over and gave me a hug
Aph: KC! How are you!
KC: I'm doing well, you?
Aph: I've been doing fine
I went over to the others and gave Zane a hug
Zane: Hey
Aph: Hi!
I noticed Zane's face
Aph: What?
Zane: Restless?
"How did you know?" I said sarcastically
Zane: Your eyes
Aph: Ahh, someone knows me well
Zane: Aphmau.
Aph: I'll be okay Zane
I gave him a reassuring smile and we hugged
After I finished talking to the others until I went to Aaron
Aaron: Hi
Aph: Hey
Aaron hugged me and I hugged him back
"I missed you" he whispered in my ear
"I missed you too" I whispered back
I watched his arms go down to my fingers when we ended the hug, we intertwined them for a second
Melissa: Guys, our table is ready!

At the dinner booth)
We all ordered our beverages and started chatting
Aph: How have you been?
Aaron: Starting to recall a lot of stuff, it's not fun
Aph: I'm sorry Aaron
Aaron: It's fine, it was a joke anyway...not really but you understand
Aph: I do
Aaron: Are you comfortable sitting next to me?
Aph: O- Of course! What makes you say that?
Aaron: You just seem nervous, your heart is beating pretty fast
Aph: You're listening to my heart?
Aaron: I- I just want to make sure you're alright, sorry!
Aph: Don't apologize, I think it's kinda thoughtful
The waiter came back with our drinks and we ordered our food.

Dante: So...how has everything been for you guys
Garroth: Alright, I guess
Dante: What about your trip? I know it must have been eventful
I took a sip of my Pepsi and scooted closer to Aaron, noticing my discomfort he put his arm over me
Laurence: Dante, can we not talk about this
Dante: Why not? They haven't told us anything about it
Aph: I mean, it was fun, we had some really good times there
Dante: What exactly did you guys do there though?
Aaron: I asked her to marry me, and we chilled with our friends.
Dante: Mhm, that still doesn't explain why you guys came back with scars and bruises, also Aphmau and Travis we're gone for like 4 extra months. And the news of what happened on starlight!
Zane: Can we just have a peaceful dinner, please?

After eating) 9:30
We all finished our plates (mostly) but I decided to box mine since I had some pasta and one breadstick left. We split the check and all said our goodbyes, well not really.
Aph: Um, do you wanna go to our place? Y- you don't have to-
Aaron: I'd love too
Aph: Oh! Cool! I'll tell Melissa
Melissa: Already know
Aaron: Melissa!
Melissa: Couldn't help it! But since I know now I'll be seeing you guys tomorrow, Byeee
Aph: See you
Aaron and I got into the car and I started driving
Aph: Did you enjoy yourself?
Aaron: I did, minus the questions
Aph: Yeah...I told Laurence about it 
Aaron: How did that go?
"He was a bit upset but he understood" I sighed and sat back while waiting at the red light
Aaron: Wish I could drive for you
Aph: I'm fine, just sleepy.

We pulled up into our driveway and got out of the car. We were now inside and I took off my flats and sat on the floor
Aaron: Are you on the floor?
Aph: Yep
I rubbed my eyes and got up from the floor then went to the pup's kennels, when I let them out Alexander and Celeste went crazy and ran to Aaron, causing me to giggle
Aaron: Hey you two!
While Aaron played with the dogs I put my food in the fridge and then went back to him
Aph: I'm going to take a shower, you can come upstairs if you want, it's your house anyways
'No shit Aphmau'
Aaron: I'll be up there in a sec, I'm going to take them to their beds
Aph: Okay
I went upstairs into our bedroom and undressed then got a towel and went in the shower. I washed my hair, and ears and let the water run down my tail then scrubbed the rest of my body

Aaron POV)
After putting the pups to bed I went upstairs, my ears twitched to the right when I heard a noise, it was probably Aphmau
Aph: You can come in!
I opened the door and then quickly closed it
Aaron: Sorry, I don't want you to be cold and all
Aph: Heh, it's fine
'Damn it, Aaron she's a werewolf!'
Aaron: Right...werewolf
Aph: Still getting used to it but Yeah...uh, Aaron?
Aaron: Ye- yeah!?
Aph: You're blushing
Aaron: Oh, shit I- um
Aph: If you need space I can just go into the closet and get dressed if-
Aaron: Oh! No! I'm fine, I'm just getting used to this...again
Aph: Okay then, do you want to take a shower? I can get your clothes for you
Aaron: Sure, thank you
Aph: Mhm!

I finished my shower, grabbed a towel, and dried off then put on a shirt and boxers on
Aph: Aaron...can I ask you a question?
Aaron: Sure
Aph: Can you see when your ultima eyes are activated?
Aaron: No, but they are still dangerous when triggered even though I don't have my sight.
Aph: Oh, okay
Aaron: Are you going to restore my eyesight or something?
Aph: I was at least gonna give it a minute
Aaron: How has your magik been? I'm not going to let you use it if you haven't been okay plus-
Aph: I've been fine
I hesitated for a moment
Aaron: Okay
I took off my blindfold and felt her come closer

Aph POV)
I put my hand over Aaron's left eye and concentrated on it, magik began to flow out of my palm, and Aarons's eye color was seeping in.

Aaron: A- Aphmau
I stopped and looked at him, his palm immediately went on my cheek
I just stayed silent and gazed at him
His charcoal eye looked into mine and I wiped his tears, I smiled
Aaron: What's wrong?
Aph: Just saving my energy, that's all, it's hard talking when you haven't used your magik in a while
Aaron: Why didn't y-
"Shhh~, Let's just stay in the moment, please.
