Part 19

Vinnie's POV

Her eyes were glistening, her smile
was fake, her words were reassuring
but not enough. I knew all she was
doing was making sure I'd stay still,
she's just trying to keep me safe. Man
I don't deserve her.

Hell she doesn't deserve this! If anyone, I should be strapped down to that fucking machine.
She probably had no idea what was
going on. I did. She's so tiny. This
could literally kill her. The waves are
too violent, her body is too weak for
this. I don't care if I get shot. I don't
care if I get killed, I just want her to be
fucking safe! IS THAT TOO MUCH
TO ASK FOR!?

The lights turned off again. I
panicked. My breathing went heavier.
I wanted to say something, but all I
could feel were the rears and the
anger building up once more. A knot
tightened in my stomach, When they turned back on. The guards were gone. Only Allison and I were in the room. She had tape around her mouth. She had two machines metal plates stuck to her temples.

A loud noise sounded. Like an alarm.
Before we could do anything else, we
heard yelling, and a group of guards
and security running down the
hallways, as well as Ms. Annabel. That
bitch was running for her life!
The temperature suddenly went up.
Distant yells were heard but all I was
focusing on was Allison's expressions,
she looked terrified.
It took me a while to understand what
was going on.
The fire alarm. It's not a drill.

Your POV

My mouth was literally shut close,
because of the tape. The only sounds I
could make, were grunts, hums,
groans and moans, but none would
help the situation. The alarm was so
loud I thought I might have been
going deaf!

The fear built up and I thought it was over, for the both of us, everyone was being evacuated, but I'm guessing this was being done behind the head's back.
Only we could get out of this. By ourselves.

"Its gonna be okay. Don't panic!"
Vinnie said as he was trying his best to
break the chains. The clanging pierced
my ears. My head was pounding,
following along my heart beat. Slow,
and deep. I closed my eyes for what seemed to be forever, but once I felt the warmth of his hands on me, I immediately opened them. I was sane again. There was now smoke coming from under the door, from the windows and vents, We were screwed.

Vinnie moved my head so I'd face him.
As our eyes met, he ripped the tape off
of my face. I caught my breath, the
smoke I was inhaling made me dizzy.

"Hold on okay?" he said slowly.
The heat was hitting my face and the
room started spinning.

"Please stay awake" His voice was completely muffled. The weight on my eyes was too much. He was yelling.
"PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME"
But I just couldn't go further.
I wanted to say that I love him but nothing came out. I couldn't hold on anymore.

I let go...
