vii~Dinner

I WAS EATING BREAKFAST along with my brother, step-mother and father in the dining table. I was eating a buttered toast with orange juice and so was my brother as my step-mother and father were just drinking a coffee.

"Don't expect us to be here until tomorrow night," My father spoke up as he put the newspaper he was reading down.

"How so?" I asked as I took a sip of my orange use. "Me and your Mother," Step-Mother. "Have some arrands to attend in Charlotte Town, that being said.. you can invite some friends for dinner or do whatever you please." Father said as he took a sip out of his coffee.

"That sounds marvelous, thank you." I said as I stood up and the maid took my empty plate and cup and went to wash it.

Gale was still eating as I walked over to the kitchen and got my basket. "What have you made me for lunch today?" I asked Julia, the cook as she was cleaning the dirty dishes.

"I sliced some mango for you and put it in a container, I got you water, a chocolate muffin and bag of pistachios for you to have something salty other than sweet." She smiled as she turned around.

"Thank you, you rest for now my father and Ruby won't be here until tomorrow, and i'll see you for dinner" I explained as I grabbed my white gloves. "See you later!" I said as I waved to her and walked into the entrance room.

This time I got my coat and also my scarf as last time I forgot it, my coat this time was a grey dark color as it complented very nicely my light brown dress.

I walked out of my house as the gates were already opened and walked straight into the forest.

I was walking peacefully as I heard foot steps coming from behind me. "Gale, are you trying to scare me?" I said outloud as I turned around expecting to find Gale but instead found Anne and Diana.

"We were trying to scare you, but I am afraid we are not Gale" Anne said as she walked to my side and so did Diana. "I love you dress y/n! It must be designer" Diana smiled as she looked at my dress.

"Oh no, I don't like wearing things that are to glamerous, my mother made this before.., before she passed" I said with sad smiled and Diana patted my back. "I am truly sorry y/n" Diana comforted with a sad smile.

"Don't be, it's natural. Everyone will die at some point. And I actually don't know if she is dead" I said as we started to walk again and they looked at me confused.

"She went missing 2 months ago, she is probably dead by now. I feel it" I said as I just stared straight in front us.

"My mother is dead too, so is my father. I am an orphan! But I have a wonderful family now and I am glad the Cuthberts are a part of my life!" Anne smiled, "I am glad" I said as I put a fake smile knowing my life was the oppisate as hers.

From a distance the school house came into view, we walked over to the pond as Diana and Anne put their milks in it so they would stay cold. "Aren't you going to put your milk in the pond?" Diana asked me as she stood up and shook of the snow from her dress, "Oh, I don't like milk. I just have a bottle of water" I explained as she just nodded and we walked inside.

We walked into the coat room as the temperature changed, I took of my hat, scarf and coat and hung them in one of the racks. I put my basket underneath them as we walked over to the girls side of the room.

I sat down on of the desk and Anne sat beside me and Diana sat in front of us.

"I've been wondering why do you have a pixie cut?" I asked anne as she widened her eyes and moved her hand through her head.

"I am umm.. I tried dying my hair a beautiful raven black color but I am afraid it turned green and we had to cut it off" She quickly explained as she looked down in shame and I put and arm in her shoulder.

"Well I think it looks beautiful Anne," I said as she looked up and smiled at me.

Class them started and Miss Stacy started to teach us math. I really don't care about math but I wanted to be a Scientist, and scientist use math. But despite my silly dreaming I know I won't become a scientist because after I am done with school and I am 17 I will have an arranged married made by Ruby.

"That is it for the time being!" Miss stacy said as everyone started to close their books and put the away. "You may go to Lunch" She smiled as she closed her own book and walked over to the back room which is for teachers only.

It started to snow harder so it was very clear that no one was going outside. Diana, Anne and some other girls took their basket and went to the corner of the room where a curtain was hung up so nobody would see them.

I saw a blond boy, who I believe his name is Cole was over with them and sat down in the chair instead of the floor like them and started to draw.

I felt a tap on my shoulder as I turned around and saw Gilbert, "Why hello there, Gilbert" I said in a fake british accent as he smiled. "Bonjour Madame" He said as he bowed down and I chuckled.

"Want to have lunch with me again?" He asked as I nodded, he than sat down in the desk next to me where anne sits.

"Hey Blythe, I was wondering," I said as I took out the water out of my basket and he turned to look at me. "Would you like to have dinner at my house today? and overall would like to hang out after school?" I asked him with a tint of nervousness in my voice.

"Yeah sure, I am sure Bash wouldn't mind as he is probably going to Charlotte Town today." He said as he took out his milk.

"He's being eyeing this lady in the Hob recently, I am pretty sure they are falling in love" He chuckled as he turned to look at me again.

"Do you want to switch lunches again, but without the drinks?" He asked as I just nodded and I handed him my basket as he handed me his.

I opened the basket and it revealed a clamantine, a piece of cheese and a slice of lemon pound bread. "This looks appetazing I smiled at him and he was still taking the stuff out of my basket.

"Pistachios, chocolate muffin and MANGO!" He said as he accidently yelled the last part and everyone turned to look at him. After a few seconds they all went back to what they were doing as I just burst out laughing and Gilbert turned red.
