YESTERDAY WAS SO MUCH fun, after the kiss me and gilbert shared we ate sweets, danced when the music started playing and overall just had a great time.

When we got home yesterday night I confronted Gale about what happened with him and cole at the Ball.

He told me how they both liked each other and knew it was wrong but they couldn't help it. I told him I understood and was always there for him.

"The Government is wrong, you are not" I remember telling him before I went to my bedroom and feel asleep.

Right now I am currently walking down to Gilbert's house. We agreed that we would have hang out during Christmas yesterday as we both had no plans. 

I walked to his front porch as I knocked on the door and waited for a little, I heard footsteps coming towards the door as it opened and revealed a tall man.

"Hello! You must be Bash, Gilbert talks a lot about you" I said as I put my hand out for Bash to shake as a smile spread across his face and he gladly.

"You must be y/n, Gilbert talks a lot about you too, he always says how beautiful you are even in his sleep" Bash chuckled as I heard another voice coming from inside house. 

"Bash! Stop embarrasing me!" Gilbert yelled as I heard footsteps coming from the stairs, "Please, come in" Bash said as she opened the door wider and let me in.

I took of my coat as I put in the coat rack and turned around to face Gilbert. 

He instantly went in for a hug as stumble back a bit but he holded me in place, "I've missed you" He whispered into my neck as I wrapped my arms around him.

"You say me yesterday silly" I chuckled as we pulled out and he scratched his neck.

"Come on" he said as he grabbed my hand and dragged me to the kitchen as I saw a woman with dark hair tied in a bun. 

"Y/n meet Mary, Mary meet Y/n" Gilbert said as Mary turned around to face me. "Hello! You must be Mary! I mean he just said you were Mary" I laughed as I put out my hand for her to shake. "Gilbert has told me so much about you!" I said as she chuckled and shook my hand.

"It is a pleasure to meet Gilbert's special someone" Mary smiled as I quicklyr emembered I had something in the pocket of my dress.

"Oh I almost forgot!" I said as I reached into my pocket and pulled out three little bags. "One is for each of you" I said as I handed a bag to each one of them with their name's written in the brown paper bag.

"Merry Christmas" I smiled as they opened there presents. 

Mary opened her present as it revealed a pearl necklace with tiny crystal around the pearl. "Oh!" She said in surprise as she took it out of the bag. 

"I couldn't possibly accept this gift, didn't it cost too much?" she asked as she put it back in the bag and tried to hand it to me but I pushed it back to her.

"I bought it and intended to give it to you so please keep it" I reassured her with a smile which she gladly returned.

I heard Bash liked to cook food with lots of spices so that what I got him, spices.

He opened the bag and took out the little jars with paprika, cumin and coriander. 

"Oh now she's got some taste!" Bash laughed as he looked at the tiny jars with the spices, "You better keep her safe blythe!" Bash said which made me chuckle.

Gilbert opened his present as he took out a camera, his face was in shock as he looked at it.

"Y/n.." He stuttered as he looked back at me. "I couldn't possible accept this, cameras are to expensive I don't think anyone owns one in Avonlea.. I couldn't possibly accept it" GIlbert stuttered as he looked back at the camera.

"I bought especially for you gilbert, I know how much you like to travel and when I saw this I instantly knew I had to buy it for you so you could take a picture in every trip you went so you have a memory of it." I explained with a smile as he walked up to me and embraced me in a hug.

"Come on," He said as he pulled away from the hug and took my hand. "I have your present in my room" he said as he dragged me along with him.

We ran up the stairs and walked into a room which must have been his, he kneeled under the bed and took out a small box.

He stood back up and sat in the bed and so did I.

"Here open it" he said as he handed me the small box, I carefully un-wrapped the blue bow tied on to it, as I opened the box tears fell down my eyes.

"Do.. do you not like?" Gilbert asked worried as I turned to look at him and leaned in for a kiss, when I pulled out of the kiss I put my forehead in his.

"I love it"

He smiled as I turned back to face the ring with music notes engraved in it and G+(Y/I) engraved among those music notes.

I grabbed the ring and slid it into my finger as I smiled at it.

"How about we go and take a walk?" Gilber asked as he stood up and I nodded.
