"Can't be that hard to fly, it's for ages 8 and up."

When MK landed I hopped out and fucking hurled. While I was over puking out the noodles I had at pigsy's everyone was surrounding MK. After I was done I walked over, not really expecting much.

"I don't mean to say I told you so, but I told you so."

When I said that mei turned over and fucking sprinted oved which I was NOT expecting but then again she's like concerningly friendly. 

"Hey we thought you died too! And what do you mean told you so?"

"How about I explain some other time when there's not BULL CLONES ALL OVER THE CITY AND A GIANT FUCKING DBK?"

"Good point."

Everybody looked over to the aforementioned giant DBK. I had to stop myself from making a put tose grippers away joke because I was not about to have to explain THAT.

"How are we meant to fight THAT?"

Mei kicks the jet? Plane? The flying thingy. And a motorcycle rolls out.

"That'll do."

I climb my ass off to a higher vantage point and watch DBK. I already know how this part goes and at this point I can't influence anything so I pull out my phone and take a video of what's going on to submit to the local news.

Wait a minute am I forgetting something- as DBK tosses MK into the wall I remember what's about to happen. I get down from where I was and sprint a few blocks down with no explanation. Just as I make it MK does the whole blast thing with the monkey mech and I walk towards the crater.

While MK had his reunion with everyone I decided now was the best time to leave and go home. Well leave and hope my home wasn't demolished in the action. I was about to walk away when mei grabbed my shoulder

"Hey you wanna come?"

I stared at her for a sec, was she joking?

"Y'all barely know me. Are you joking or something? NOT THAT I DON'T LIKE YOU GUYS I JUST-"

She cuts me off before I finish explaining

"Well yeah but like- you already went on a super cool adventure with us soooo I'd consider that a good enough introduction right?"

I mean she makes a decent point. And I have to get involved in the story somehow, what better time than now? I agree and with a bit of hesitation go to hang out with them at the noodle shop. MK and mei are actually fun people when you're not fresh off a life or death car chase. At the end mei put her number in my phone and added me to a groupchat with her and MK. 

I still found it a bit weird that she made friends so fast but I'm still in a damn cartoon world, not to mention extroverts make quick friends so that's probably it. As soon as I get to my apartment and see that it's not destroyed I collapse onto the bed. That was a long ass day.
