When (Y/n) got a call from Emma saying that Rumplestiltskin's son was the man that left her in Phoenix pregnant and alone, Neal Cassidy, the first thing that (Y/n) was is angry. She couldn't believe that Emma had to face the bastard that left her broken and alone in prison to take the fall for his crime. That also meant that Neal was Henry's father, which meant that Gold was Henry's grandfather. After a small discussion with David and Mary Margaret, they came to the conclusion that their family tree was extremely complicated and that Thanksgiving in the Enchanted Forest would suck.

Right after that, (Y/n) had learned that it was her mother's birthday, but David warned against reminding her. Apparently, Mary Margaret's mother, Queen Eva, had died on her birthday, so it wasn't a day that Mary Margaret liked to remember. She had discovered that her old chambermaid Johanna had come over from the curse, as had an old tiara that Mary Margaret's mother gave her. In a terrible turn of events, the Charmings discovered that Regina and Cora were working together to find the Dark One dagger, the only thing that could control, and even kill, Rumplestiltskin. After having taken it, Cora killed Johanna in front of Mary Margaret, revealing that it was actually Cora that had poisoned Queen Eva to darken Mary Margaret's heart. After Johanna's funeral, Mary Margaret decided she was going to kill Cora, a choice in which both David and (Y/n) were worried about.

What (Y/n) was most mad about was the fact that Hook had escaped with his hook and had traveled to New York to stab Gold while they were there. Emma, Henry, Gold, and Neal were on their way back on the Jolly Roger, which Hook had managed to sail to New York. David, Mary Margaret, and (Y/n) rushed to the docks in David's truck as soon as possible, seeing Gold being carried by Neal and Ruby as they approached. Ruby had arrived just before them, Mary Margaret calling her to take Henry.

"Are you okay?" Mary Margaret asked Emma as they walked.

"Yeah. Yeah, we're all right," Emma said as she tied the dingy from the Jolly Roger to the dock.

As David took Gold from Ruby, Henry spoke up, saying, "I drove a ship!"

"Did you, now?" David said, helping Neal bring Gold over to the truck.

"Yeah, my dad showed me how," Henry said, and Neal looked sheepishly at them.

"That's me," he said, and helped his father to lean on the truck. (Y/n) gave him a look of distaste before going over to Emma and giving her a short hug.

"Thank God you're back," (Y/n) sighed, and pulled away. "I have so many questions about... him."

"Yeah, I know you do. I'm gonna explain it all, I promise. After we save Gold's life," Emma said, and they walked over to the truck with the others.

"Thank you, thank you," Gold said in a strained voice, getting on the bed of the truck.

"Is Cora trying to control you with the dagger?" David asked.

"Well, you'd know if she was, because most of you would be dead by now," Gold stated, setting himself back a little bit.

"Well, then, we'll just have to take the fight to her before that can happen," Mary Margaret said.

(Y/n) stepped away, and looked to an awkward Neal. Walking over to him, he looked at her and said, "You're Emma's sister, right? (Y/n)?"

"Yeah," she answered short with her arms crossed. "And you're the man who let her take the fall for those watches."

Neal shifted in his place and said, "Okay, I deserve that. But you gotta understand, I had to let her go. I had to let her do that."

"Why?"

"Because if I hadn't, she never would have found you," Neal said, and this put (Y/n) back a little bit. "And she never would have been able to break the curse."
