ASHTON'S POV

We are now inside Zyon's office and we told Vraxx everything we knew, but we didn't mention any name or where did i heard from

" What?! You heard that person's secret and now he's been ordered to haunt you both?! " he shouted and slammed his hands on the table.

" Calm down! " i said while Zyon just glared at him

He cleared his throat

" What would you do now, Ashy? " he asked me

" I don't know. " i said and lowered my gaze

" I'll protect him " Zyon said but Vraxx only gave him a scoff

" How? We were chased by unknown guys, and to make it worst, they tried to shoot Ashton! How can you protect him when you're not even by his side?! "

I looked up and prevented Vraxx from speaking

" Your right.. How can i protect the most precious person in my life when i can't even stay by his side. " Zyon said and took a long pause before smiling at me

" But i know that he won't be happy either if i leave my work behind just to stick around by his side "

" I've sent my people to investigate about this shooting incident. They'll repost back to me if they notice anything suspicious activity or movements within the organization. " he said before looking at me

" And I'll be apointing Krevius as your guard. He's a very skilled man, and you can trust him. You don't need to worry about keeping your privacy. He'll protect you from afar especially when you're at your school. But in public, like going to crowded places, he'll stay behind you to protect from any life threatening attemps " he said and i nodded

After experiencing such a dangerous incident, there's no way that i'll keep insisting what i want.

Vraxx just sighed in relief before butting in

" But i'll also help you, when Mister Zyon or Mister Laustre is nowhere to be found to drive you. Just call me, ok? I also know a few basic self defense stuff " he said and i nodded before thanking him

We were interrupted when the door swung open and Laustre came in, he was in rage.

He looked at Vraxx, and just by thay stare Vraxx knew that he needed to excuse himself.

Zyon motioned to his secretary to guide Vraxx out.

When Vraxx left, the secretary immediately closed the door in a hurry

I turned aroud when i heard a loud thud

I saw Zyon sitting on the floor, there was a cut on his lips

While Laustre was standing in front of him, panting hard while gritting his teeth and in a clenched fist

" What was that for?! " Zyon yelled in pain before getting up

" You! Is that why you two were acting so weirdly earlier? Is this also the reason behind Ashton's shooting incident?! " he said before grabbing Zyon by his collar

" W-what do you mean? " Zyon stammered

" Did you forgot that i am also a member, the second in command to be exact in the Organization?! Why did you ordered our men to keep an eye on Regis?! " he yelled angrily

Zyon and I were stunned by what we've heard

" Don't treat me like a stupid fool, Zyon! I am not an ignorant person who doesn't notice his surroundings! " he added
