"Ah! I finally found you Todoroki" Y/n smiled but then stared at the broccoli haired boy confused
"Oh did I interrupted something?"
Todoroki cold eyes turned warmer "not at all master" he walk towards her
"Something wrong? You don't seem happy winning, and I told you not to call me master" Y/n frowned
"Nothing's wrong master, I just had something in mind. Let's eat, I'll treat you something" Todoroki said changing the subject
"Ok" She nod and followed Todoroki. Midoriya stared at them as they walk away
'He doesn't want his teacher to worry' He thought, it was clear that Todoroki admire his mentor and deeply respected her.
Time skip quickly and the sports festival will start again. Y/n had returned to her sit.
The third event was one by one fight. Y/n was excited to see Todoroki in action.
Before the battle, there were games. Y/n wasn't interested in seeing the games so she open a bag of chips and start to munch on them.
"Oh it's starting! Um, where to throw this..." Y/n muttered
"Excuse me... where's the trashcan?"
"Give it to me, I'll throw it away for you" The guard said
"Oh thank you" Y/n smiled and handed the guard her empty bag of chips. She turned her focus on the battle once again.
"Ooo, what's happened to broccoli boy" Y/n watched curiously
"Eh? Did he get brainwashed?" She said confused when Midoriya started to walk out of the arena.
"Woah! Nice save broccoli boy" Y/n cheered as Midoriya manage to broke out of Shinso quirk. They began to wrestle, Midoriya manage to get the upper hand and won.
"Both of them are indeed amazing. Nothing less from UA students!" Y/n nodded approvingly
His friends started to cheer for him, telling him that his quirk was amazing and that he performed well.
Y/n smiled at their interactions "such an amazing friendship"
It was now Todoroki's turn, Y/n frowned at his look. She left her sit and went of to the hallway to see Todoroki after his match.
"Eh?" The entrance towards the battle field was blocked by ice. Y/n flicked at it and the ice immediately shattered surprising everyone.
"Master?" Todoroki stared in surprise, he was still trying to heat up Sero.
Y/n gave him a thumbs up to tell him she was okay. Todoroki immediately ran up to her when he was done.
"Why are you angry?" She asked as she stared at him blankly
Todoroki gulped at her gaze and looks down at the floor "I'm angry because of my father, master. I don't want to use his power" he said clenching his left hand into a fist
"But it's yours, not his" Y/n said making Todoroki look up.
"You were born with it so it's yours. It doesn't matter if it's inherited. Once it is in your body, it is yours to use, not his. If you don't use your all how are you going to surpass me?" Y/n pet his head and walk away
"Let's rest for a bit before your next match, I'll accompany you"
Todoroki stared at his master back in admiration before quickly following her.
"It's this way master" he pointed
"Oh"
