chapter 37

Your pov:

Everyone was talking about a party. It was someone's birthday and there's a party at their house later. The whole school is invited, I was currently in my room getting ready for that party. In my room were Avery, Dahlia and talia.

“Mom were leaving,” I said, “Be careful, no drinking.” she says, i laugh and we leave “does anyone have the address?” I ask “me, here” , Avery says.

Dahlia pov:

I walked in and music filled my ears. I walked further into the house and sat down on the sofa/couch. A cup comes in front of my face “does it have alcohol” I ask “maybe” i hear, i look up and see elle “what do you want?”  question getting up

She walks closer to me, i walk backward until my back hits a wall “fuck” i whisper, she looks at me and walks closer. I feel her hot breath on my face “you” she whispers, I scoff “unbelievable” I say “were playing true or dare wanna play?” I hear “sure” I walk out of her gaze and sit in the circle

“Dahlia truth or dare?” one of the boys asked me “uh, dare” i say. I bit my lip scared of what he was going to say “sit on elles lap the entire night” he says smirking, i mentally groan and walk over to her ‘I swear this was planned’ i think to myself “where?”  I say to her, she pats her leg. I sit down and lean back into her. She puts her arms around my waist and we continue playing.

For some reason I felt safe.

The party was dying down and everyone was leaving. I got up and walked away before i could elle grab my hand “mhmm” i question not looking at her “you look really pretty” she says, i look at her in the eye “thanks… so do you” i say. I walk away my hand leaving hers

I went outside and met the others “shall we go?” i say “what's up with you and elle?” talia asked me while we were walking “uh nothing” i say, i look at y/n and bit my lip and open the house door “i'm straight” i say walking in

I saw 4 bottles of water on the counter with a pill next to it. “What's that?” I ask  “for you guys, take it now.” Chris says “I didn't drink'' I say taking my hair out “whatever” I take the water and aspirin and walk upstairs. I take my clothes off and change into shorts and an oversized hoodie. I was staying in Florence house because she said I could. I walk back downstairs and grab some food from the fridge. I heat it up and sit down on the sofa listening to the adults' conversation. “I have a question?” I get everyone's attention “how do you know if… a girl likes you” i say almost cringing at everyone face “i thought you were straight?” talia says “i am but i feel like a girl likes me” i say “at least i'm not the only straight one” chris says

They were all talking over each other I couldn't understand. I don't think they realized that I was gone, I was in the kitchen making hot chocolate for myself. “Don't sweat it” i look up and see chris, i slightly smile “want some?” i offered some hot coco “no thanks im stuffed” he says

“She likes you” he says, i look up at him “what do you mean?” “I mean elle…” I look up at him “how do you-” “one name y/n” he laughs “seriously?” i say, “yeah i wouldn't trust her” he laughs

I lean my head on his arm and we just talk.

Chris pov: 

I was talking to dahlia, i heard little soft snores and looked down.  She was sleeping. I picked her up and walked upstairs to her and Talia's room. I put her down and put the blanket on her, “goodnight dad” she whispers, I look at her and shake her. “What?” i say “lia” i say nudging her

She called me dad.

I walked downstairs like a little child

NEXT DAY -

y/n pov:

I walked in school with a headache “fuck me” i mumble “sure, when?” I hear, I look next to me and see avery “now” i say smiling “no” she says leaving me and going in her class

Dahlia pov:

I was metally slapping myself. How did I not know that they were siblings? Camron and elle. What the fuck. I was in the hall talking to Cameron but I wasn't paying attention. “Wanna hang out later?” I looked at him “sure” I smiled.

I walked over to my class and walked in “see you at 5?” “yeah”. I sat in my seat and opened my text book. “The answer to 5a… dahlia?” the teacher asked me, ''I look at my paper “24?” I ask “correct” . I smile at her and start doing the other equations.

I put my bag on the floor and jumped on the couch/sofa “how was school?” Chris says “meh not bad” i say “also sorry for yesterday” i get up and look down “sorry for what?” he says acting confused “you know what i mean” i say walking past him “no i actually dont” he says smiling, i roll my eyes “i'm sorry for calling you dad” i say getting some water, he rested his elbow on the counter “i don't mind” i tilt my head to the side “okay then dad… Can you make me a sandwich?” I asked “sure” he got up and walked towards the fridge. I laughed at his actions and walked upstairs “no tomatoes” i scream “okay” i hear

I walked into talias room “i need help” she looks up of her phone “what?”

I open my closet “im hanging out with Cameron and I need a nice outfit” I say looking at her, she's sitting on the edge of my bed with her eyebrow curled up “sure, mine clothes or yours?” she asked  “i don't know.. Any” i shrug, she sighs and pulls my hand towards her room

“It stinks, you need clean your room” i say fake gagging “fuck off” she says i laugh at my actions and walk up to her.

I look in the mirror and say ‘no’ “then what?” she says, i think of something “wait” i say. I went to my room and opened my closet, I saw a long sleeve corset that wasn't revealing. I took that out and walk back to talia “okay this with-” I said trying to find the jeans she showed me earlier “-this?” i say holding it up. “Mhmm put it on”
