Confession

It's been 3 weeks since their last interaction, Steve was almost fine to not to be on the bed anymore but can't walk and bend properly still because of the stitches he still had on his arm and lower abdomen to his heart, but he wasn't on bed anymore, and that was a relief to everyone around him, but Natasha wasn't interacting with him nor they talked after that, Steve thought he shouldn't have said anything to her, and Natasha was completely ignoring him because she thought he deserves better than her.
Tony was a keen observer of them and Furry still didn't trusting Steve the way he did before. They all missed Clint and the compound was almost an upside down area for all of them.

Perceptions, thoughts, doubt's, and love it was all confusing for Steve now.

Steve was sitting in the main lounge of the compound, the glass window were opened and as usual he was looking outside, to the nature, it was now more common for him to being more quite, far from everyone, and not justifying anyone that what happens back in the forest, he was just looking outside, to break this cage around him and be free, to be free of being him, the golden boy, the american hero, the do called avenger, his shoulders were tired of taking this all burden, he wanted freedom got himself too, he rested his head on the back of the couch he was sitting closing his eyes for a minute, he haven't slept for a while, but the memories start to replay, haunt him like they always do, " war, last dance, Bucky, Peggy, freezing in ice, avengers, Clint, forest, stabbing, Natasha, his heart was beating like a race car in an open field, he opened his eyes, not knowing what to do to calm himself, Natasha he whispered to himself only, he stood up and turned around but someone hugged him so fast that he couldn't interpret who it was until, she spoke, calm down, you are drenching with sweat Steve, everything is fine, I'm here now, she said softly, still hugging him tight, I thought you hate me, you were ignoring me from 2 weeks I guess, why so sudden this soft side now, Steve said while confusion, you needed me, just as I needed you, you were there for me and I'm here for you and... she replied, "and" Steve said
I don't want you to alone Steve, she said still in the hug, Thanku, Steve replied embracing her in his arms now too but she knew he couldn't hug her properly so she nudged him not to, you must take care of yourself first then you can takecare of others, he nodded, I know it took me months to realize this Steve, Natasha said, but I just wanna say that I LOVE YOU, I'M SORRY FOR EVERYTHING BUT I WILL MAKE UP THINGS TO YOU, I WILL NEVER DISAPPOINT YOU, BUT I JUST WANT YOU BY MY SIDE, NO MAN HAS LOVED ME SILENTLY AS YOU DO, THANKU FOR LOVING ME, GIVING ME SPACE AND RESPECTING ME, she said to him almost sobbing, they both were still in hug, I LOVE YOU TOO, TASHA, THANKU FOR CHOOSING A BROKEN MAN LIKE ME, THANKU, he said, and she laughed while sobbing too, you old man, look at you, and your muscles and your speedy recovery if there was someone else there and I stabbed him he would have died at the spot, and you're saying broken man, but still I love you, she smiled, and looked at him with so much love in her eyes that Steve couldn't resist but to kiss her passionately, he waited for so long and she responded too, I love you too, he said and kissed her forehead as well, go and get some rest, she said to him, and he just nodded, yeah I need it.
