Juliette's POV

Leila, my daughter, and I are both up and eager to spend Christmas Day together. Aaron, though, is still asleep. I told Leila that we could extend the time for her father. When I hurry towards the door to check who it is, Leila rushes to open it and sees my best friend Kenji. As soon as Leila sees him, she exclaims, "UNCLE KENJI!" "Hey there, princess," Kenji says as he laughs and gives her another cuddle. Kenji places her on the ground, puts his belongings down, and approaches me. He smiles "Hi, J. Happy Holidays." I accept the hug when he extends his arms to me and says, "Merry Christmas to you as well, Kenny." Kenji groans and asks, "Wait, where's Warner?" I chuckle, "still asleep?" I tease Leila," Would you mind going and waking up your dad right away, Leila? I'll be in the kitchen preparing breakfast with Uncle Kenji." "Alright!" exclaims Leila as she jumps in excitement. Consequently, Leila runs over to the bedroom Aaron and I share.

Author POV

Leila struggles to climb onto her father's bed, her tiny body wrestles to not fall off the bed. Alas, she finally managed to climb the bed and crawls up onto him and places her head against his chest, softly saying, "Wake up, Daddy." Aaron then yawns in response, waking up, rubbing his eyes with his hands.

Aaron's POV

Leila's head is laying against my chest, her blond hair too. I yawn another time before someone wraps their arms around me and embraces me in a tight hug. Her cheeks are soft against mine. I can't help but smile, hugging her back. I realize it's my daughter, Leila, not Juliette. Both my wife and my daughter have small frames so it can be easy to get them mistaken a few times. I laugh and say in a sleepy husky voice, "Hello, my mini me." I
embrace my daughter once more and she states, "Daddy?" I reply, "Yes, sweetheart?" Leila giggles, "You sleep a lot, Daddy." I laugh at that, "I know." I pick her up and ease off the bed and I tell her, "What about you wait on me, Daddy is gonna go wash his face and then when can go to the kitchen to see what Mommy is doing." She nods, "Okay." I smile and go to the bathroom and wash my face. When I come back, I pick her back up and head into the kitchen. I'm surprised to see Kenji and Juliette in the kitchen together making breakfast. I place Leila down carefully and Kenji sees me and says, "Good morning, sleeping beauty." I glare at him collecting a plate of eggs and pancakes, "Morning." I move closer to Juliette and wrap an arm around her waist and place my face into the crook of her neck, "Good morning, love." Juliette turns around and smiles, saying, "Good morning to you too." I kiss her neck, she says, "You are very distracting, Sir. I am trying to make cookies." I take the frosting from her and say, "I insist you require my assistance." Rolling her eyes, Juliette mutters, her face trying not to break into a smile, "Fine, you can help." I beam. I give her two frosting colors red and pink and I keep the blue and green for myself. I apply frosting on two cookies when Kenji takes one cookie from the pan, I give him a dark look but ignore it. He laughs and continues to chase my daughter around the house. Juliette eats one of the cookies and says, "It's so good." I can't help but notice she has frosting all over her lip. She notices me examining her face, "Do I have something on my face?" I tuck a strand hair behind her right ear and place my hand across her face and wipe the frosting off her lips with my thumb, "Not anymore." Juliette's face erupts into five different shades of red, "Thank you." I lick the frosting off my fingers, "Of course." Kenji makes gagging sounds behind us, I hear a voice say, "Oh, hush, Kenji." I turn around and it's Nazeera, Kenji's girlfriend. Kenji's mouth just hangs open for a moment. Leila says, "Aunt NAZZERRRAAA!!!!" Nazeera beams and picks up my daughter and lathers her face in red kisses. Juliette says, clapping her hands in excitement, "Who's ready for presents????!??" Leila explodes with happiness, "Me! Me! MEEEE!" We all head over to the living room to open presents. This was going to be a lovely Christmas with my family. Even if annoying Kishimoto was present. They were still my family. And I loved my family.
