Juliette's pov
At breakfast
We quickly made breakfast for the family and Leila was eating her cheerios in her high chair. Aaron and I made bacon and biscuits for us. I am taking a bit of my bacon and when I chew it I almost spit it out in pain. I have a toothache now. Great. Luckily I didn't make a sound so Aaron didn't notice. I decide to drink instead. I push my plate of bacon and biscuits in front of me. Aaron looks at me, brows furrowed, "Are you full already? You were just saying earlier when we were cooking how hungry you were." I sigh, chuckling "Well maybe I wasn't as hungry as I thought I was haha." My husband gestures to our daughter, "Even Leila ate more than you did." Leila giggles at that. I scowl at him. Leila says, "okie I'm done mommy and daddy can I go play with my Barbies now?" Aaron answers for her and she goes prancing into her room. Aaron moves his chair in front of me and looks at me with concern on his face, "You barely ate anything, love. You need to eat more." I whine, "I don't want it Im not hungry anymore babeeee." My husband says, "You give me no choice but to feed you." He brings the food up to my mouth, "Come on open up before I start saying Here comes the chew chew train." I say, "I'm not a baby, stop it." Aaron bring it up to my mouth and I slap it away, his mouth playfully gapes open in surprise, "See! Look you're throwing food! You've gone insane!" I roll my eyes, trying not to laugh at his ridiculousness. My husband holds his hands up in surrender, "Fine. Whatever. But if you're done eating that means I can go ahead and start that exam of yours, there, sweetheart." I almost panic. I completely forgot again about the exam promise I made to him this morning. I say, "Can I take back my promise?" My husband says, "Nope. You promised. Sorry, love. But remember you have nothing to worry about." He pauses and looks me in the eyes, "Unless something is bothering you and you're not telling me because you're afraid." I say, trying to sound believable "I'm not afraid." Aaron leans in and says, "Juliette, love, I may not be a doctor and I may be afraid of doctors but I think you forget I know what anxiety looks like. I have it myself." He rubs circular motions on my leg, " You are anxious about it baby. It's obvious in your body language." Suddenly, from the toothache pain and fear I burst out crying. Aaron automatically begins questioning me saying, "Hey, hey, hey baby, what's wrong?" His arms wraps around me embracing me softly like a teddy bear, "Shh.. Why are you crying, my sweet love? What hurts?" I sob into his shoulder, "I'm sorry, Aaron." He rocks me in his arms, stroking my hair, "Whatever are you sorry for?" I say, "I lied. I am afraid. I don't want to be but I still am. And I want to try and not be. Can we do the exam in our room on our bed?" My husband nods, "Of course, love. And it's okay." He so carefully scoops me in his arms and cares me to the bedroom, placing me down gently, "I'm going to get my bag." He comes back moments later and says,"Alright love. So what hurts? I sniff trying to dry up my tears, "My mouth started aching once I started chewing the bacon at dinner. Which is why I didn't eat because it hurt. I should've told you." "Yeah you should have but it's okay because you told me now. We will work on that," he says to me. I nod. Aaron says, "Alright just lay your head down on my lap and I'll start the exam." I do as my husband says. I say, "You promise you'll be gentle?"  A kiss is placed upon my head as he says, "Yes Sweetheart, I promise."  Aaron puts on a pair of latex gloves and I cringe at the sound. He then brings out the mirror tool and taps my lips briefly, "Open your mouth please." I open my mouth and he looks around with the mirror tool. He brings out the electrical brush and turns it on and begins brushing my teeth. When he's done he takes something called a water syringe and sunction to remove the water from the syringe. After he does the steps he praises me and says, "Good job, my love, You are doing fantastic."  My husband says, "Now I'm going to gently touch with my finger on all your teeth and if you feel pain let me know alright?" I nod. He smiles, "Try to not bite my finger please."  I say okay and readjust my mouth. Eventually he gets to one where he touches a tooth and I yelp in pain. Immediately he stops and says, "I see why it's giving you discomfort and pain baby." I say why . He replies to me, "Its a very loose tooth." My husband says to me," You can sit up for a second love." I sit up as soon as he says it, relieved. Aaron tucks a piece of loose hair behind my ear and he tells me, "I hate to tell you this, Juliette, but I need to pull the tooth out. It won't hurt because it's already loose. If not it will cause you more pain." I take a deep breath and say, "Okay. Yeah. That's fine." My husband kisses my cheek, "That's my girl."
My husband grabs a specific tool to pull out the tooth and I shut my mouth quickly in fear. He says "hey babe its just to take out your tooth so your pain can go away don't you want to be in no more pain?" I say yes and slowly and reluctantly open my mouth again. Aaron finds it and pulls out the loose tooth. I didn't feel it at all! Aaron hugs me," I'm so proud of you my beautiful wife. A few more things." He sighs, "We won't use the scraper tonight because I know you don't like it. But I do need to floss your teeth. His fingers wraps around the string of the floss a few times before he moved it through my teeth. They bleed a little less this time. He says," See me helping you floss your teeth has been helping your teeth stop bleeding as much." I say when he's done, "Thank you Aaron." My husband smiles at me and kisses my lips, "You are welcome my beautiful beautiful love."
