The Kraken

Tilton would put the notes into separate bottles and put them at the bottom of the ship in a secret compartment, "So why did we do this again?" Tilton would ask Dougie, "We did this when I was 19, so you being 16 and 17 of course, it'll be a longer wait. You gotta open them when you're 30 though, maybe older heh." Dougie would walk up to the steering wheel and as the waves get larger, the sky gets darker, "Dad? what's happening?" Diego would ask, "The Kraken..." Dougie would pull out his sword and watch out for anything like a Kraken tentacle or something, "HOLY SHIT! ITS HERE ITS HERE THE KRAKEN!" Ripley would yell as she shot at it, "RIPLEY NO!" Ripley shooting at the Kraken just made everything worse, "Uhmmm... I think it's angry..." Auden would say as the Kraken came towards them making the ocean waves bigger and bigger as it rocked the ship. The tentacle came up and tried hitting the boat but Ripley would shoot it in time, "I GOT THIS!" Diego would use the rope to jump onto the Kraken's tentacle as he would cut it up and end up slicing it off, "GO DIEGO GO!" Auden would yell as Diego than moved onto the next tentacle cutting that off as well, "THROW DOWN THE ROPE!" Dougie would yell out as they did so. Diego would jump off as the Kraken would retreat and Diego would swim towards the rope and climb up. "That's... The Kraken?!" Missy would yell out coming out of hiding, "Yeah... never seen it before?" Ripley would ask "I thought it was a myth!" Missy replied. The whole crew than started laughing as they went and relaxed, "School in the morning, kids, make sure you get a good rest." They would all nod as they went into their individual spots at the bottom of the ship and went to sleep after saying goodnight to each other. Dougie stayed at the top to guide the ship and talk to himself, "I can still feel his spirit" Dougie said as he talked about his old best friend, Longtail, "He would still be alive... 29 years old... I loved him..." Missy would come to the top of the ship to see Dougie, "uh... captain.... I can't sleep" Dougie would turn and look at Missy, "come here." Missy would sit next to Dougie as they both looked out in front of them, "So... your family... sorry for your loss" Missy would nod, "You too... tough growing up by yourself huh?" Dougie would smile, "I wasn't alone, me and my monkey had each other's back" "Pet?" Missy would ask, "Best friend." Missy would nod and sigh, "griffin hounds are huge... but i'm surprised you didn't change who you are after your best friend's death" Missy would say as she looked at Dougie, "One or many deaths can't change who you are as a person, it's the people that you call your mates that can really change you" Missy nods as she hums a melody, "sea shanty huh? used to sing it with my crew." he said as he smiled and sung the sea shanty with her. After they finished singing, she became tired, "Goodnight captain Dougie" "Good night Missy" Missy went to the bottom of the ship to finally fall asleep, but before she could Diego would wake up, "You alright Missy?" Missy would sigh and turn the other way "yeah... i'm fine" she and Diego slept next to each other so she and Diego could talk whenever, "Well if you ever need to talk, just wake me up or find me, I always got your back." He said as he turned and fell asleep, "yeah... so do I" she said as she fell asleep as well. In the morning, the ship was already planted with the anchor in the ground and in the boat dock so they could t go anywhere, "WAKE UP PIRATES, TIME TO WAKE UP!" he said as he shook a bell to wake them up. They all groaned and got up, putting on their uniforms and all walked to school, "HAVE FUN KIDS!" Dougie yelled out giving a friendly smile and wave goodbye. Diego smiled and waved back as the rest said goodbye or cya, "soooo, Diego, how's Evelina?" Missy would ask bumping his shoulder, "She's alright, we have every class together you know?" he said looking at Missy, "yeahhh but you guys never talk outside of school" Missy would say, "Missy has a point Diego, you really don't" Tilton would agree, "Well, we are going out to-" "YOU GUYS ARE GOING OUT?!" Ripley would yell out, "Yeah is that a big deal?" Diego would ask, "Yeah! You don't know anything about her!" The others started laughing, "Overprotective?" Missy would say, "NO! I just don't want Diego dead" "Please, if anything, she would be dead if she tried anything" Tilton would say as he chuckled a bit, "Don't say I warned you, Diego, don't say it at all" Ripley would say as they got inside and separated to their classes. Diego entered his class and sat next to Evelina, "Hey Seawolf" Evelina would say as he scooted closer to Diego, "Hey Evi" He said as he waited for class to start, "So how was the trip last night" she asked smiling towards him, "We saw a Kraken, and I took a part of it's tentacle off, oh it was amazing" he said smiling back, "Oh wow, I'm not surprised because, your title in the school is the best swordsman in the school. I'm the runner up though" she said as she laughed a bit, "You've never beaten me before, so I see why" He said as he chuckled and the bell rung. Missy and Tilton were in their class making stuff in engineering class, "No you put the plank here and than the nail in" Tilton said trying to teach her how to make a smaller version of their ship, "ohhh, so stand, plank, nail" Missy said finally understanding it, "exactly! good job Missy" they worked together and finished the boat and brought it up, both getting an A+. Ripley was in gym class playing dodgeball, "RAAAAHHH! TAKE THIS PUNK!" she throws the dodge ball with force and hits someone in the stomach as it ricocheted back to her and she caught it, "GET OUT!" she yelled out as the person limped off of the court. Auden was doing the same old nerd stuff in history class, "OO OO ME ME!" he said raising his hand, "Yes, Auden?" the teacher asked, "The Bostscot war was when Bostscot and Torionté clashed and only started because Torionté decided to cannon ball the place and came out losers." The teacher clapped, "Nice job Auden" the bully behind him than threw a paper ball at him and silently laughed as Auden turned, "you messed up." The bully continued to laugh, "What are you gonna do about it, Sypher?" Auden chuckled as he took off his hat, "May I remind you my captain is in the history books as the most deadliest swordsman in the world. So I can have him teach me everything he and his son, AKA my best friend knows, and kill you with ease." He said as the bully felt a bit of intimidation but didn't show it, "I'll see you outside, Sypher" the bully said as he had a stern face. Auden turned and payed attention in class before the bell rung and everyone went to study hall but everyone went outside to hang out and the crew met up with each other, "Watch out for Ransley." Auden would say, "Shell? Why him?" Tilton would ask as Ransley would approach them with his own crew, one of them being Evelina, "Evi..." Evelina's eyes would widen but sigh, "I TOLD YOU SHE WAS BAD! I TOLD YO-" Ripley tried to say before being punched by Evelin and Ripley didn't take that kindly as she tackled her down, "CREW FIIIGHT!" someone would yell as they circled the crew, but before anything could happen, a teacher came out and separated them as the two crews were sent to the principals office. After a while of talking they were sent out as Ripley and Diego walked to the nurses office, she wasn't there so Diego helped Ripley herself as he grabbed a wet rag and dabbed it around the mark, "you alright?" Diego asked Ripley, "y-yeah... i'm fine" Ripley would reply. They had a smile moment but Evelina came in and saw Diego and Ripley, "Seawolf?" Diego's head shot up at Evelina, "yeah?" he asked, "Can we talk?" Evelina asked, "yeah... stay here Rip" he said to Ripley. He and Evelina walked out for her to talk to him, "Look... i'm sorry for punching Ripley, she just has so much to say and it's annoying" she said as she sighed and looked down, "you're fine, I understand." he said as Evelina hugged him and Diego hugged her back, "you're fine, I promise" he said as they hugged. Ripley saw them hug outside the window and sighed, "alright, I gotta help her, cya later tonight?" he asked, "obviously, we're going to shipwreck" Evelina replied, "I love that place, best food. Anyway's cya!" he said waving and going back into the nurses office and Evelina waved bye and went to her own crew. "Sorry about that, she was just apologizing" he said sitting next to her, "Are you guys dating or not?" Ripley asked as Diego used the rag to dap around her eye, "I don't know, i'm planning on asking her tonight for dinner" she sighed, "just... be careful okay? I don't want to be at your death bed and hearing your dad cry his eyes out and your mom coming back to see you half dead. I just have my suspicions" she said as Diego stood up to grab an ice pack, "I understand. Well let's get going, schools about to end anyway" he said handing her the ice pack and she put it on her eye. They left the school and met up with the rest of the crew, "Alright guys, I gotta head to shipwreck." Diego said, "in your school uniform? cmon man with all of the gold we have we can get you something nice" Auden said to Diego, "yeah... you're right" Diego said, "go to the ship guys, I'll meet you there!" he said as they nodded and went back to the ship but Diego and Auden went to get him a nice suit for the dinner, "let's see... red... blue... yellow and white... or black and white?" Auden asked Diego, "Yellow and white for sure" Auden chuckled and went to the front to get a specially designed suit for Diego that was done in minutes. Diego went to the fitting room to try on the suit, came out, and got white dress shoes to match and looked nice as hell, "Auden's job is finished." Auden said as they paid for it and left. Diego gave Auden his uniform, "have fun, Diego" Auden said giving him a fist bump, "Thanks man, i'm spending the night at her house, so tell my dad to just come back in the morning" Auden nodded and left as Diego made his way to shipwreck.
