Not Again?

(Waima POV)

Chi-chi got big, like fucking huge. Last time a saw her, she could fit through the doors, now, she barley fits in my bedroom. Looking up at her as she sits on the floor next to my bed, I wonder if she'll get as big as her Mum

I have found out a new thing about her though. When she can't fit through a door, she shrinks herself. If was the weirdest thing to see the first time. She's also become very affectionate which I love. She's always purring and rubbing one of her heads on me

Last night however, I got the shit scared out of me when she yawned. It made the house shake like it was an earthquake. Mum dragged us all downstairs and hid us under the dining table before I could explain

I still don't know where Chi-Chi went, but where ever it was, she came back badass

I'm going to hang out with Elisa and Jenny today. I haven't spent as much time with them as I've wanted too over the last few weeks, so we've planned to meet up....although....I'm not sure how Chi-Chi is gonna take it. Since she's been back, she refuses to leave my side. Even when I'm on the shitter, she has to sit at my feet and stare down at me

"Waima!" Mum yells as she walks in my room

Rolling my eyes, I sit up and greet her "Yes oh mother of mine"

"Where's your brother and sister?"

"With their mates, I think"

"They didn't even say goodbye" She pouts. The fractured relationship she had with Tui is actually mending, although Tui gets annoyed with all the codling. Her and Mum talk regularly and I think Tui is the new favourite "What are you doing today?"

"Hanging out with my friends" I tell her

"Why is it so hard to spend time with my children?" She groans dramatically

"We've got lives too" I chuckle "And we spent time together yesterday"

"Not enough" She frowns "Tomorrow, no one leaves this house"

"We've got school" I snort

"Oh come on!" She growls "Then the weekend" She states firmly "You, your siblings, Mathew and I and Mum...." She pauses and looks at me frowning "Where is your grandmother by the way?"

Dammit, I was hoping she wouldn't ask that. Grandma Eddy still hasn't told anyone about her mate yet "Um....I think she's with her vampire friends"

"God. Even my mother-in-law has a life" She huffs

"Why don't you hang out with Avalon, Celeste and Zandiler? With their wives constantly being away, I'm sure they'd like the adult company"

"They have been away alot" She muses "You're right. I like the girls, we're so much alike. I'll call to see if they're busy" Mum walks out the room and then I look at Chi-Chi

"Now Chi-Chi" I sigh, knowing this won't end well "I'm going out with my friends, you need to stay here" She let out a little rumble, then smacked her giant paw on my bed....breaking the fucking thing "Chi-Chi! I just got it fixed!" I groan

"What was that?!" Mum yells, running into the room with yellow glowing eyes. Dad is behind her with a baseball bat, where he got that is beyond me, cause he's never played a sport in his life. Mum looks at me and then the bed frowning "Seriously?" She growls "We just replaced that"

"Chi-Chi and I are having a discussion" I tell her "She's not taking it very well"

"What discussion?" Mum asked, now calming a bit
