We walk to PE and I can tell Sarah is nervous. She keeps ringing her hands together and looking at her feet

"What if she changes her mind and doesn't really like me?" Her voice is so quiet I almost miss the question "What if she finds out I'm an Omega and am not worth the hassle?"

"My sister won't care about that. All she'll care about is you"

"What if I'm not good enough for her?"

"And what if she's your mate?" I wiggle my eyebrows at her when she looks at me

"Omegas aren't supposed to have mates"

"Good thing I see you as my friend then"

"I thought we were best friends?" She cheekily smiles. I laugh and nod my head

"Sorry. Good thing I see you as my best friend"

Tui has her back to us as we walk towards the locker room

"Tui!" I shout and she turns around.

The moment her and Sarah lock eyes, they both say in unison "Mate!" They both freeze on the spot, both unwilling to move. I have a strange feeling they've forgotten I'm here

Both of them are breathing erratically and Sarah let's out a little growl. I roll my eyes and get in between them, they try to look over my shoulder to see each other

"Waima move" Tui growls

"We still need to get changed and standing here isn't going to help"

"OMEGA!!" I turn to see the 3 goddesses walking towards us and Tala looks pissed. Sarah cowers so I stand in front of her blocking Tala from getting to her

"You shouldn't be near my mate Omega!" She growls pointing a finger in Sarah's direction. I hear Sarah whimper and it pisses me off

"She's my best friend, leave her alone!" Tala looks taken back by my outburst, they all do

"Do you know what her parents did?!" Tala argues once composing herself

"Do you know what your brother did?!" Feeling my anger simmer at the seams

"He didn't do anything!" She shouts

"You really believe that? You really believe your brother didn't rape her sister because he couldn't have her?! She killed herself because of it! If you found your child, dead by her own hands because of something he did what the fuck would you do?!" Tala stands silent and confused "Her parents went to your mother for justice but were denied! Sarah, not O or Omega Sarah Whittle lost her whole world when she was 8 and still that wasnt enough! Your family had to crush her even more by giving her Omega status! Sarah is my best friend and my sisters mate so back the fuck off!" Tui stands beside me

"I may be just a human but if you touch my mate, I'll kill you" Tui says calmly

"But my brother....my mother....they both said nothing. I assumed it was the Whittles fault....I assumed....shit" She looks at me but I leave my face expressionless "Omeg-Sarah?"

"Y-yes Alpha"

"Is it true?"

"Y-yes Alpha. I was there when Carla came home all bloody and bruised and told my parents what happened, and I was there when my Mum found her. I....uh....I still have her suicide note" What? I turn and look at Sarah, we all do "It was the last time she told me she loved me. It also tells what he did to her. I was hoping to show someone but nobody cared" Poor Sarah

I hear Tala let out a deep breath "Can I....can I see the note?" Sarah nods. She reaches into her bag and hands a piece of paper to Tala. Tala reads it and she looks even more pissed then before but this time, not at Sarah "Thank you. I know it may not mean much now but I'm sorry Sarah, I really am. My brother is an asshole but I never thought he would go that far. I knew he liked Carla but I never thought he would be so....cruel"
