Tenzo's morning was the same as any other. But, he did have the day off. Tenzo climbed out of bed, and made himself a hot cup of tea.
Tenzo blowed off the hot steam, and took a sip. Refreshing.

Recently, Tenzo's been receiving more missions than usual. Like, three in a day. He didn't want to question the Hokage, but he was curious as to why he was getting more work. Tenzo felt sore, but he didn't want to complain. It's not like it was anything new.

Tenzo propped his head up, and stared out of his window.
The sky was clear, almost no cloud in sight. Birds chirped, as they soared in the sky. Nature was very calming. Unconsciously, Tenzo had let his mind drift off, into his own world.

He couldn't help but wonder- how was (Y/n) doing? Is she okay? He wouldn't know. Ever since the incident, he was worried out of his mind.

What if something happened to her? With (Y/n) being out there alone, it left her incredibly vulnerable, if she didn't always have her guard up. Tenzo couldn't simply bring (Y/n) back, since it was as if they never knew each other to begin with. Tenzo knew that (Y/n) could possibly be targeted, if other villages found out what happened. They could even put her against Konoha.

Tenzo shook his head, sighing. I need to stop worrying so much... (Y/n) can take care of herself, I'm sure...

-Your Pov-

The door opened.
You had to carry out the plan, and fast.

As the door creaked open, you hid in the corner near the ceiling, focusing chakra in your fingertips to stick to the wall, waiting for the door to be opened up wider.

Soon enough, there was enough room for you to slip out of there. However, like you had predicted, Kakuzu had still been out in the hallway. But, luckily for you, his back was turned, and he was walking away. You could not fuck this up. You had to be as stealthy as possible.

You snuck out of the room, easily fooling Hidan with your clone. You hopped off of the wall you were sticking onto, and landed on the floor soundlessly. The door was closed behind you. How considerate. You didn't want to run, so you walked with a fast pace, down the hallway.
You really didn't want to run into anybody, considering they were all S-rank missing nin. As you wandered through the hallways, you noticed multiple rooms along the way, some of them had names on them. Some of them, you recognized.

As you were running through the Akatsuki's maze-like base, you might've been looking around too much to notice what was ahead of you, because you ran straight into someone. You backed up to see who the person was. They had pale, bluish gray skin, and they were certainly tall. You looked up to find the face that could only belong to the one and only, Hoshigaki Kisame, one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. You also saw the lovely sword he had on his back, Samehada. Just my luck.

"Hello there. You're not supposed to be here, are you?" Kisame said, giving you a smirk, that showed off his sharp teeth.
You responded with nothing, and ran as fast as you could. As you were running, you couldn't help but look behind you. No one was chasing you. At least, as far as the eye could see. You proceeded to knead chakra, and figure out if anyone was actually following you.

...Where is that signature coming from...?

As if on cue, a green, shell-like object emerged from the ground, with someone inside of it. It kind of reminded you of a venus flytrap. So this one can travel in the ground and everything. I'll keep that in mind. The Akatsuki sure do have some interesting people... You run past them and turn around the corner. Man, I haven't ran this fast for this long in a while. You thought, as you began to get tired. The hallways in this place seem endless...!

To your delight, you could see the exit, ahead. You picked up the pace, wanting to get this over with.
But, unfortunately, it wouldn't be that easy. Someone had step foot into your path. Specifically, Kakuzu. You're kidding me. You were put to a halt. Did these people have to make your life more difficult?

"(Y/n). We don't intend to harm you," he paused. "Unless we have to. We can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Your choice."

Instead of immediately responding, you put a little bit of thought into this. You've been running for what felt like quite a long time, but this couldn't be too bad, right?

So, you got in your fighting stance, one foot in front of the other. This confirmed your answer, for Kakuzu. He sighed, almost as if he was disappointed at the decision you've made.

Kakuzu was the first to make his move, as he shot his arms straight in your direction, in attempt to grab your neck. Luckily, you moved just in time. You sprinted towards Kakuzu, while avoiding his extended arms, and jabbed your fist at his jaw. Without showing any sign of flinching, Kakuzu spun his head back at you, and curled his fingers into a fist. Before you could even react, Kakuzu had knocked the air right out of you. Still staggering a little, you quickly regain your balance, and back up. Katon: Neshou Bunshin. Another you, made out of flames, emerged. Your clone began to fight against Kakuzu, as you focused more on sending out projectiles and performing jutsu from afar, since taijutsu just wasn't your forte. Katon: Goukakyuu no jutsu!
You sent a fireball in Kakuzu's way. Even while he was fighting your clone, he still had time to dodge it. Kakuzu had landed a few hits on the other you, and landed a final hit. The clone had burst into flames, causing him to jump back. Already being a few steps ahead, you quickly moved behind Kakuzu, and pressed a kunai on his throat. Kakuzu narrowed his eyes at you. You returned the same look.

"Can you tell me why I'm here?" You ask Kakuzu, but to no avail. "Let me rephrase that. Tell me why I'm here." You demanded.
Wait- why were you bothering to ask? The exit was right there, you could leave, as if nothing happened.

"Because," Kakuzu started, "we know the situation you're in right now."

"What about it?" You asked, urging for Kakuzu to explain further.

"The leader will be able to talk to you about it." Kakuzu stated. You furrowed your eyebrows, not exactly liking the sound of that idea.

"...I think I'm going to go..." You say, heading for the way out.
Unfortunately, someone else had a different idea, because when you turned your back, you felt someone chop the side of your neck.
Everything felt like it was going in slow-motion. You turned your head, and before darkness took over your sight, you caught a glimpse of a tall person with orange hair, staring you down with two rinnegan eyes.
