I woke up at 7:00 am to my alarm clock I groaned as I got up and rubbed my eyes. I put all my books in my backpack and got ready. I put on my outfit for the day:

I and Dustin headed to school and when we got there there were a lot of stares, has no one ever seen a new girl here? I couldn't have been the only newcomer. Before I walked into the school a giant banner read "Hawkins High 86' " I walked in and got even more stares. Girls gave me dirty looks as they stood up against their lockers while they stretched their gum with their fingers. People making out, the nerds reading, and the stoners sitting in a corner. Don't think it would take too long till I would be sitting with them. Oh and we can't forget Dustin and his nerdy friends with these stupid, stupid shirts that said "hellfire club" they were all in a club about a stupid boring game. "D&D" mike came up to me, (one of Dustin's stupid friends) I kinda know him. "I'm sorry about your parents y/n" I looked at him for a second then said, "oh no it's- it's fine." Dustin handed me a paper with all my classes on them "you can sit with me at lunch" he said smiling. "Great thanks," I said sarcastically, then walked away. I could feel their eyes watching me as I walked into the bathroom. I stared at myself in the mirror then the lights started flickering. "What the hell..." I ran out of the bathroom and into my first class.
