"Nobody will agree with you" Katerina said while stirring her drink.
"Don't get me wrong I thought that at first but being in Austin made me change my mind" I said while sipping my drink.

Me and Katerina got sent from Vogue to catch up on Austin, Texas city fashion. With it being a new popping city we are supposed to write a piece on clothing here. I just told Katerina that cowboy boots are actually great accessories to an outfit. Girls in Austin look amazing in them.

"Let's talk about how obsessed with their local college they are" Katerina said while asking the waiter for the bill. I laughed before agreeing.
There is a lot of UT merchandise around here.

We paid before walking around some more. The city was beautiful in the fall, it wasn't too hot nor too cold. But also around this time was the Formula One race in Austin. I see Charles' face all around. I haven't seen or talked to him in three years, but since then my life has changed. I've grown up mentally and career wise to where I don't depend on my parents money anymore. And also I've moved on in my love life. I'm in a long committed relationship and my boyfriend, Jack who works on Wall Street. It gets hectic but we make it work out.

This year my mother bought me paddock passes to the Austin race because she knew I was gonna be in town. I hope I don't face Charles, and I think it's better if we just don't come into contact because so much good stuff has happened when I'm not there.

First he finally joined Ferrari and Arthur joined Prema. He also is a Grand Prix winner! He's been doing amazing since then with the equipment he's had. I still watch all their races because it feels wrong missing one.

Me and Katerina decided to accept my moms passes and Jack is also flying down to see the race. It's a great opportunity to see peoples fashion in Austin at a Formula One race. One thing though, Jack doesn't know about how I know the Leclerc's, he only knows I love the sport. I'm excited to finally see one in person again, I missed going to races.

We made it to hotel and put down everything. It was 9pm right now and we just finished our night. We decided to call it in early because we wanted to shop for our race outfits tomorrow. I am definitely going to buy some cowboy boots.

"I'm gonna shower" Katerina said before going to the restroom. I nodded and laid on my bed when I got a phone call.

"Hello" I said.
"It's Jack, I have bad news" Jack started, "I can't make it to Austin it's been so busy here".
Well there goes that, "okay it's fine I'll see you when I get back" I said.
"Yes goodnight love you" he said before hanging up.

I sighed before getting up and going to brush my teeth.
"Katerina", I say while she's in the shower, "Jack is not coming anymore"

She opened the shower door and looked at me, "that bastard" she said before rolling her eyes.
"Katerina" I say, she despises Jack.
"You know I hate him, it's such a Jack move to pull, just making work an excuse UGH, I hate Wall Street guys" she says in the foggy shower.

I go back to brushing my teeth before turning around to face her steam. I just smiled, she's so naturally funny to me.

"Work does take up a lot of time" I say.
"Yeah but think of all the vogue events you skipped to be with him, such a double standard" she finishes.
I stay silent before she turns off the shower and comes out in a towel.

"Hey at least now we get to have a girl's weekend, instead of a nagging Jack tagging along" she smiled.
I smile back before leaving and going to my bed to go to bed.

This was one of the problems with Jack, I commit so much to him but he never finds the time for me. It's so hard because I love him, but I don't know if he'll ever truly love me like I do him.

I just need to sleep.
