taking love from my soul

i showed her my flaws
as she looked in awe
told her it was stupidity
told her it was fake
gone for a few days
cant help but think
she may be a cadaver
in some Massachusetts morgue
she gets back, dazed, not talking, not talking about what happened
then
it
was
over.
