I tried to be an angel Ann nmlq11
And be perfect in your eyes
So I put on a halo
Completing my disguise
But I was never good enough
You saw right through me
Because my wings weren't bright enough
And my hair wasn't shiny
My skin wasn't perfect
Although I covered the scars
And when you looked into my eyes
You couldn't see the stars
My clothes weren't sparkly
As angel's should be
I just wasn't beautiful
As far as you could see
I'm not perfect
You began to realize
Though I tried to be an angel
