3rd Person POV
selene woke up the next morning and they got dressed as they left the house , they didn't bother to say anything to their mother. their mother didn't say anything to them it was almost like a silent agreement
"selene" their mother called and they turned back to her in surprise
"what's up mom?" they asked and she sighed
"are you okay?" she asked and selene shrugged
"as okay as i can be mom, he's left before and he's broken promises before. it's nothing that hasn't happened before" they spoke and she nodded as she walked over and kissed their forehead
"have a good day baby, be safe" she spoke and they smiled before they let go of their mom and they went out of the door with a sad smile
"selene" someone called and they turned to them
"what's up?" they asked and tory smiled at them as they smiled back softly
"are you going back to school?" tory asked and selene nodded
"yeah even though i was in the fight. they don't blame me" selene said and tory nodded
"you did beat the shit out of max" tory said and they nodded with a smile
"he deserved it alright" selene laughed
"oh of course he did but i don't blame you either" she said and selene nodded
"have you talked to robby?" tory asked and selene shook their head
"i haven't had the time too , it's just i don't hate anyone in this situation. i don't blame you or sam or miguel or robby. you were pissed, sam was drunk, miguel was being an idiot and shouldn't have kissed her but he did and well robby ; you and him are in the same boat" they said and tory nodded
"but demetri and hawk? do you hate them?" tory asked and selene shook their head
"after everything between me and hawk or eli, i can't hate him obviously i don't like this new version of him but i can't do anything about it and demetri is my best friend, since we were kids i'll always protect him" selene stated
"how are you so understanding? and wait you and hawk?" tory asked and selene shrugged
"you can find out about me and hawk another time, it's easy to be understanding when you've been there" selene spoke and then looked at their phone
"i have to go but i'll see you later alright be safe" selene said and they kissed tory's cheek before they turned and went to their car. they got in and waved to tory before they drove away with a smile on their face
that was until their phone rang and they turned to see a call from juvie
"oh what the fuck?" they asked and they answered it
"hello?" they answered and they heard a sigh
"hi selene" he said and their eyebrows rose in shock
"robby? what the hell?" they said
"i know you probably hate me but i just... i need to talk about my dad and you seem to be the only person who would ever listen. i know that your dad is the navy and we aren't alike but" he began but they stopped him
"robby how do you know that?" they asked and he sighed
"i heard you and hawk talking before when you were friends and closer before the fight" he said and they nodded
"robby i understand, johnny left you when you needed him and he can't come back now especially not after treating me and miguel better than he treats you" they said and he sighed
"so you get it?" he asked and they chuckled sadly
"of course i get it robby, my mom is a therapist who treats her clients better then me and my dad is the navy. i get scared that every time he leaves he won't come back and then at some point, i'll move away. i understand robby" they spoke
"nobody else does" he whispered
"i know and it sucks" they stated
"how come you don't hate me?" he asked
"because everyone was pissed and heartbroken robby. i got in the fight because i could. you just wanted to stop sam from getting hurt. i don't agree with what any of us did but it doesn't change that we did it" they stated and he sighed
"aren't you supposed to be at school?" he questioned and they nodded
"yeah but i'm already late and i think that since this happened, any of us not going is better than us going. they're horrified of us now" they stated
"of me" robby whispered
"of us, we all made some shitty mistake robby and i'm blaming all of us" they said and he nodded
"my 5 minutes are up, i have to go selene but thank you" he said
"yeah of course robby i'm glad you're safe" they said and the call ended as they pulled up to the school until they sighed and shook their head
"mom doesn't even give a fuck, dad won't know" and they pulled down the visor of the car
"you think it's a good idea?" they asked their reflection
"skipping , seeing miguel is better. he might be awake" they told themselves and then they smiled
"miguel it is" they said and they pulled out of the parking lot as they drove away from the school and to the hospital
"is this a good idea?" selene asked themselves and then they shrugged
"better than school" they spoke
they only hopped miguel was awake
